Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very helpful staff. There is so much greenery around you would never know there are 200+ sites. Good facilities and local walks through the park along the river. To have such a beautiful setting in an outer Sydney suburb is quite amazing. Would definately stay again.

Very clean and accessible park. Close to Nth Ryde train station making access to the city a breeze, whilst still having a peaceful setting. You wouldn't even know the city was so close! Looked after us with a late checkout as well after we were delayed getting back from an event.

The cabin we stayed in was really good and was quite modern but my wife & i thought the cleaning needed to be more detailed. Eg. Behind & under the couch & between the sofa cushions. We would stay there again as the location is superb. minute walk to bus or train. We never hopped on to our car during pur stay.

We stayed here for a couple of days on a powered site. Calm and quiet atmosphere only disturbed by the birds, which is also a good thing. Amenities were quite alright. Good laundry facilities. There's a swimming pool but if I remember correctly it was closed, possibly because of the off-season. This did not matter to us because we did not come here for swimming. It's about 15 minutes walking from here to the Metrostation. We had a good time here as a base for going in and out to Sydney.

This is a lovely park to stay in, we stayed for a week and loved the site we were on , we faced out tent to overlook the National Park and had so many beautiful native animals coming right up to our sight. The staff are lovely and friendly. We enjoyed the pool on the hot days. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the amenities. The floors where never swept and when they get washed with the mop, all the hair just got pushed around, the toilets were not wiped over as the same dirty marks were under the seats and the showers also never cleaned out as things ppl had left on the soap shelf was there all week. I thought after covid this would be a huge necessity for all public bathrooms to be completely cleaned everyday. But saying all that we will definitely return again.

Third time staying at the campground and loved our stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and toilets/amenities were cleaned twice a day. Great hot shower and handy laundry. We were in a camper and needed a very long extension lead to reach power. Over a five star stay and magical place given how close it is to all the action of the Sydney Harbour.

This is a pretty basic park but is in a great location if you want to explore Sydney and get away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. It was easy and close to public transport. The sites were roomy but our site slab was all cracked where we needed to exit our van which was pretty dangerous. Office staff were helpful and lovely.

Great park, right on edge of the Lane Cove National Park Lots of walking trails on the doorstep Very well kept park, with very friendly staff, and clean facilities When we arrived we found our site to be deep mud (thanks to months of rain). This is obviously not the fault of the park. Whilst one team member was defensive, another team member took the time to drive me around the park to find a suitable dry (ish) site for a large motor home. A particular call out to the assistant manager who was very understanding and helpful with an incident we encountered on leaving.

My wife needed to spend a week in Concord hospital so we decided to bring the van to Sydney for my accommodation. This park is really pleasant, lots of bush and greenery around. The amenities were lovely and clean. We have our own shower in the caravan so I can’t comment on the park showers. The sites are perhaps a little close together, but having said that there is room to move a bit on most sites. The grounds are tiered and we were up reasonably high. Lots of shade, the power and water were right alongside our van so absolutely no problems there. The free Wi-Fi is ok, not lightning speed but adequate most of the time. Plenty of areas to go for a nice stroll early in the morning or in the evening, but I think in the warmer months there could be a few mosquitoes around with so much bush, but that is to be expected in Australia. Perhaps the only negative is that we were directly under a flight path to Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, and the planes were pretty noisy at times, but again that seems to depend on the wind direction. Also the Concord Hospital Helipad isn’t too far away and on our first night we were woken up by a helicopter that seemed to circle for ages. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes!
