Thoroughly disappointed The rooms are outdated, the only thing that looks like it has been done to the rooms in the last 30 years is a digital television that couldn't even pick up free to air channels properly. My room was not made up during my stay despite the sign being put on the door. Breakfast was basic to say...

Room was adequate and clean but there was no Foxtel or free wifi. Internet access was very expensive.Staff were friendly. Contrary to other reviews I actually liked the sheets. Tea, coffee, milk provided

From the outside this motel looks good but for $110 the room was dated. There was no Foxtel, no phones and no wifi due to the storms 2 weeks previously. No mention was made of this when we checked in. It has a guest laundry and the drier took $10 to dry our clothes. Useless. No powerpoints for my PAPS...

Stayed one night recently, room was very ordinary and worst part the air conditioning not working had to have sliding door facing pool area open to be able to breathe. Door lock broken on main door to room, looked like someone had tried to kick door in! Décor a bit tired and yes the sheets look like something from the...

While the room is basically OK for a country motel, the things less than good include: Air Conditioning did not work properly, no spare power points (had to disconnect a light for my PC), door lock was damaged, couldn't get my newspaper order right over 5 days. The restaurant is OK but no better than the RSL which is half...

This motel is over priced and quite old and run down. The night we stayed (Friday night) the restaurant was closed and we had to walk over a kilometres to the golf club. Bathroom fixtures are less than average, air conditioning does not work properly and the general comfort of the room is below average. For a three star motel...

I booked this hotel mainly because I was staying here by myself and wanted a motel that included a restaurant so I didn't have to walk anywhere alone. When I booked the room it was advertised as having a restaurant and Austar. When I turned up (Saturday night) I was told the restaurant would be closed. This was annoying as...

My wife and I stayed at the John Hunter during the Scone Racing Carnival. The motel is comfortable and did the job, as it was only a place to sleep. Only problem was the room smelled like a smokers lounge, and while my wife wasn't too worried, I was. Our room faced the New England Highway and with the doors...

Was able to get into the room before it was turned over so we could get changed. Bed was comfortable. Good choice of tv channels. Breakfast was good, but a little over priced. Pleasant stay, would stay here again
