The property was easy to find. We drove from Melbourne so were pretty exhausted.
On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly gentleman (sorry I didn’t get his name) and were told all 4 of our rooms were ready at 1pm.
It was super hot so we went straight to the pool. The great part about the pool is that it is covered by a shade which helped with keeping the kids out of the sun.
Breakfast was a hit! We found it very cheap for our group. It was $20 per adult for buffet breakfast and kids aged 15 & under were free.
We didn’t have enough time to try the other restaurant at LCC but next time we will.
I would definitely recommend this place.
All staff we spoke to were friendly, helpful and always had a smile. 5 stars!

The property is well located if you need to do things in western or southwestern Sydney. It is good for either families or the business traveller well supported by its sharing the location with the Liverpool Catholic Club.

The food is sensational in the Atrium restaurant and even better as an Accor Plus member. You must try the pork knuckle.

The rooms are modern and fresh with a good supply of USB ports and I like how you can plug in your laptop to an HDMI port and see it on the TV.

We have had weeks of smoke haze and poor air quality in Canberra accompanied by extreme heat. Visiting family in Sydney for a funeral we found our stay a wonderful respite. The air was fee of smoke, the Airconditioning worked perfectly, the bed was very comfortable and we were able to rest properly for the first time in a long time. Thank you to Mercure Liverpool

Stayed at Mercure Liverpool for 2 nights.

Location
The hotel is in Sydney suburb Liverpool. Not much public transport and quite far to the Sydney city (30km). However it is connected with a freeway between the airport and the hotel so without the traffic, can reach the airport around 30 min by car.
The hotel is next to Liverpool Catholic Club. The club has an excellent indoor playground., a few eateries, gaming machines, ice skate rink, mini golf, gym.
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, conference centre, a restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch (some days) and dinner.

Room is very clean. The rooms in newly built tower (10 levels) are modern. Curtains and lights can be controlled remotely via control on the wall.

The restaurant looks more like a canteen can be busy during breakfast time and serves ordinary hot breakfast. Don't expect there is a chef cooking you the eggs though. Good thing about the restaurant is it closes at 11am for breakfast.

Ironically, check out time is 10am and the hotel will find out the hard way when your key card will no longer work after 10.01am

Free WiFi for Accor members.

There are plenty of free car parking hut all are outdoor.

Pool is good size but unattended. You will need to get your towel from the reception.

Staff is friendly but can certainly do better. Not much recognition from loyal guests though

Overall, a good 4 star hotel in Western side of Sydney

Attached to the large Catholic club this hotel is well out of Liverpool (5km) and is surrounded by a light industrial zone.

The staff were helpful, the room was very good, wifi worked well, room service is available, the room was generally quiet but there is some background traffic noise from the busy roads around.

I found the catholic club to be a very disappointing dining venue so finding something decent to eat nearby is a bit of a challenge. So I would say location is the biggest let down.

We might try it again but drive into Liverpool for dinner.

I chose the Executive Suite because I saw the photo showing the kitchen area with a kitchen sink and wrongly assumed that it was equipped to use as a kitchen. I have subsequently checked the room description and indeed only "tea and coffee facilities" are provided. I accept that this was my mistake and I am detailing the following that may be of assistance to future travellers. The staff at reception were happy to pass to me a plate and knife and fork when I requested them. However, don't expect to be able to prepare your own breakfast, make a piece or toast or microwave a light meal. Additionally, the fridge only chills to 5 degrees so it is not suitable for storing food or any medications that need refrigeration. The only utensil provided was a solitary teaspoon. You can check my photos of the cupboards to see exactly what is provided.

On the plus side this hotel is well located and you can easily access the M7 and M5 motoways. The is a good size pool with long opening hours. There is plenty of free parking both outside and under cover at the Catholic Club. The hotel adjoins the Club and I had no problem being issued with an "Extended Visitors Pass" that covered the days of my stay. The room was serviced daily and there was an abundance of white fluffy towels. However, it was showing the early signs of deterioration with a little rust in the corner of the shower and the carpet edge beginning to fray. Renovations were underway near the pool and if you are planning to stay it might be worthwhile enquiring about room renovations. I felt the room was lacking some of the niceties that I have come to expect in a suite - there was no water, gown, or shower cap. I have not stayed in Liverpool before and I also noticed there was no artwork, magazines or coasters.

I would definitely consider staying here again, however, if I chose a Suite I would bring all my kitchen supplies with me, not including the sink.

Stayed for a quick night on the way from Melbourne to Qld on a roadtrip as a family of 4, with 2 kids under 8. I have previously visited this location for work conferences and wanted to come back. The LIverpool Catholic Club that is adjoined to the hotel has great facilities, cheap and hearty meals and a fantastic ropes playground for kids. You can either join up as a member for $7 or use a visitors pass as part of your hotel visit, however a work of warning - make sure you keep the signin slip they give you....when we arrived at lunch my wife and I signed in and presented ID's at the door - the lady gave my wife a printed visitor pass but not me and said "dont worry you wont need it unless you plan on playing pokies", cool I thought definately not here for that! After a great lunch and kids play on the playground, we went back to our rooms to relax, but returned to the club for dinner only to be stopped at the door demanding a visitor pass. I explained the situation and the lady said no that isnt good enough, you need to sign in again, if you dont we can get fined if we are inspected.....so back up to my room I go to get my license and sign in again, but then proceeded to have a lovely evening meal....so not a big deal just make sure you get a visitor slip and keep it if you want to enjoy the club :) Apart form that great location near the freeway, friendly staff, and well appointed rooms. Would definitely stay again.

Third time staying here. The hotel has gone completely downhill since our last visit in 2017....

• the lack of cleanliness was beyond disgusting. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Dust everywhere. Very dirty. The floors had debris. Even the glasses had stains on them. Really putrid.
• We had to call the front desk to fix our drain which wouldn't go down, the shower was also playing up too.
• Don’t bother calling front desk. They never pick up. Ever. You need to physically go downstairs to get help.
• The buffet. Need a fork? Good luck with that... I felt like we were asking for a kidney. When asking the staff for the pancake maker to be plugged in, she really felt like we were asking for her organs.... Also the food was really average and not varied.
• The wi fi was slow and played up constantly particularly on an android phone.
• Again the dirtiness was a real turn off. Even the elevators are filthy.

I would avoid this place unless they pick up their game.

One of the Most Horrible Upsetting Hotel Experience! We arrived 9PM After 8 Hours Drive with my 2 little kids, Booking is fully paid and I'm an Accor member. The Staff wouldn't let me check-in unless i present a physical Card (any) but I dont use physical cards anymore for few years now as everything is becoming digital, i use my Smart phone for everything, payment , IDs Extra ... and my booking was fully paid for. I explained that, and told them that i have been driving all day and my kids are super Tired and i have blood pressure i need to go up and just relax a little bit and in couple hours my wife is arriving and she has a physical card, HEARTLESSLY the staff named" Phillipe" wouldn't budge and he was so disrespectful and gave me the biggest Eye Rolls like i was a child, and the other staff "Chau " wouldn't do anything but kept repeating " there is anything i can do" ... i even offered to pay the bond on the same Card, but they kept saying " no we need to a physical card showing all numbers" at the end while i was looking through my bag she saw i have some cash, she said "ah you can pay $200 Bond and we will let u check in" and keep in mind this is for a paid accommodation, for a family, for an Accor member. so i did bcz i just wanted to check in as i was so close to drop because my blood pressure was so high and i was about to have an anxiety attack. and the funny thing is i dont have physical ID but they accepted Digital ID! so SHOCKING and Funny at the same time. I Told them can you show me where it says i cannot check in unless i present a physical card even if the booking is fully paid and my card is on file they wouldn't ! but keep repeating this is our rules. i will be taking this further, and i will be sharing this review on so many platform so ppl can know what to expect from this hotel staff.

Hi Tonia, Thank you for your question. Westmead hospital is near Parramatta, about 30-40 minutes drive from our hotel, depending on traffic. I would recommend booking a hotel nearer Parramatta to make it easier for your family members arrive at their appointment on time. Please feel free to call us if you would like any more information.
