The room is large and well appointed, fast Wi-Fi is free, the shower is hot and strong, and the location is central to everything.
My only criticism is all the weird noises in the middle of the night. (Plumbing? I don't know) but I am a light sleeper, and these bothered me.
Again, the staff are wonderful

Large comfortable room. Excellent aircon on hot summer nights, large tv that works, excellent wifi, great location next door to the recently reopened club.
Excellent cleaning standard - well done cleaning ladies. Was spotless and all towels and consumables refreshed. Fridge, microwave, communal kitchen if you need it, excellent!
Only criticism is the curtains don’t block out the very bright external hall lights, so bring an eye shade. Recommend blackout curtains get installed.
That aside was very good!
The TV is dated, there was no Netflix or any other kind of streaming service available.
The rooms are outdated, the fridge in the room is very loud, and during my incredibly restless night some weird lights above the bed (perhaps smoke detectors) decided to come on. Dinner was average.
The sound of the water gushing through the pipes as someone used the bathroom in another room was not at all comforting.
I understand this is a regional motel and not the Ritz Carlton, but it needs an overhaul. I’ve stayed at far nicer motels in other regional areas.
Staff at check in and restaurant were friendly and very welcoming.

Then came the air conditioner—buzzing so loudly that it was impossible to leave it on. When I finally got to bed, I found it was rock-hard. To make matters worse, there was a smoke detector directly above me with an obnoxiously flashing green light. Across the room, under the desk, the Wi-Fi power supply had two red lights so bright that I ended up unplugging it just to get some darkness.
In the early hours, I woke up to a long hair in my mouth—definitely not mine. Disgusted, I got up and quickly checked the bed, which appeared clean, so I tried to go back to sleep. That didn’t happen, because I was cold, no extra blankets were available in the room. I had no choice but to turn on the noisy air conditioner again.
A while later, I felt something tangled in my fingers. I turned on the light, and there it was—another long hair. I pulled back the covers only to find even more hair at the foot of the bed. That was it; I was done.
Later in the day I went to find a staff member to discuss the issue, the reception was yet again unmanned. Instead of using that ridiculous phone again, I simply left my key and walked out, forfeiting the second night I had booked.
I've selected the rating as 'terrible' due to poor staff availability, and the uncleanliness of the bed this alone will prevent me ever going back.
"Plenty of parking, but it is located at the corner of a large roundabout. Room 100 was very noisy."Read full review
"Parking- whilst undercover, the parks are crazy small. Lots of big 4WD vehicles and not much room. But at least it was not street parking."Read full review
