We were extremely disappointed with Woodford of Leura. I now believe never trust the photos. We booked Woodford for a family get together with 11 of us. The house was dirty to say the least. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom. The shower had mould all through it. The towel rail was broken the toilet had a crack through the... More

We chose this property for the size and the lovely photos of the property. We booked this property for a special family event But were totally disappointed with the property. For the price you pay it is totally not worth it. So many things need fixing broken shower rails, toilet seats, carpets stained, it advertises fully equipped kitchen .. two... More

We recently stayed at Woodford due to the fact it could accommodate 6 couples. This is an extremely tired property which needs a lot of maintenance to bring it up to acceptable. The second bedroom upstairs contained 2 very small single beds and had the most disgusting stain on the carpet which we had to put a mat over so... More

I'd only be echoing all the wonderful reviews if I went into too much detail; suffice to say Danielle is a fantastic hostess and her B&B in clean, homely, tasteful and well located. We stayed in June for the long weekend and enjoyed many lovely walks which Danielle gave us advice and books on. Have no complaints the only tiny... More

From the moment we stepped into the B & B until our last day, the owner made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The living room has an amazing fireplace with smooth background music which created a cozy ambience. The breakfast was delicious (especially the Dutch pancakes). Suggestion: the location is a bit obscure if you are walking from the train station.... More

I stayed at Woodford of Leura over the Christmas break and it was by far the most relaxing trip I’ve had in years. My room was beautiful, and the breakfast was beyond words. I highly recommend Danielle’s Dutch Apple Pancakes, they were simply amazing. Thank you Danielle for being so accommodating and helpful!!!

Had the pleasure of staying at the Woodford over the weekend. Danielle is perfect; she balances beng a superb host with an impeccable B&B facility -- clean, peaceful, and elegant without going over the top. We will be regulars. The Woodford gets my strongest possible recommendation.

We booked based on reviews and price. We were not disappointed. This must be one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at. Leura is a good base to explore the area, but the charming Danielle makes this the perfect place to stay. I can only echo other reviews which priase the comfort and cleanliness of Woodford. But add to... More
