Stayed there for a night in the Blue Mountains. Very lovely welcome and the house is worth the stay. Not a new modern hotel, but just great with perfect service. In the morning we had a breakfast made by the owner. Watch out, there are some rooms with shared bathroom. But even this was OK, as we knew it before....

Thank you for your kind words Yes we do have a Queen Room with a shared bathroom but it is only one. All the rest of our rooms have ensuites. We have had a problem with 3rd party websites taking information and changing the details. These 3rd party websites are under the Expedia Group, which we have nothing to do...

I highly recommend Leura House. I stayed for the good part of a week in a self directed artist retreat and felt this lovely old home and garden was the perfect place. Gary accommodated my needs very well - so for me it was a 10 out of 10. Please know, it is old - things have a patina and...

Lovely guest house in Victorian style, located close to the center of Leura. Owner very friendly and helpful. All rooms are different, depending on you budget. Complimentary breakfast. Limited parking. Overall - great stay! I can definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

Thank you for your kind comments It is pleasant to know that for you and the majority of guests that stay here they appreciate the house for what it is, an 1880 Victorian Guest House! Hope to see you again!

A very poor experience? Room very small with no fridge or fan. Shower particularly small with mould in the corners. A very old building which was very noisy. Breakfast very disappointing wth cheap supermarket bread, canned fruit and weak instant coffee. The owner seemed disinterested in providing service to his guests. We will not use this establishment again.

Thank you for staying at Leura House which is a Guest House not a motel. Yes the building is old; 1880! First house in Leura! With our Queen Rooms they are advertised with no fridge, but there is a main fridge in the kitchen that can be used. Instant coffee is never served at breakfast. As there is no local...

Location close to great pub, Alexandra Hotel, Leura Mall with all it's restaurants and cafes. House is beautiful and Gary was very welcoming. Rear yard very pleasant, private and quiet. We stayed in the one bed cottage which is clean, tired but average. Was adequate for us and we only paid $120.

Thank you for your comments! While the cottage is average, it provides basic accommodation for those who require it. A quiet location but close to Leura shops We take on board all comments that guests leave; we know that there is always room for improvement! See you again soon! Garry M

There are probably better paces to stay in Leura than Leura House even if it has a historic past ! It was the only place we have stayed where we had to call to be let in after knocking and ringing the bell didn't seem to work ! The property looks tired inside and a revamp should be on the...

Thank you for your observations with Leura House! We know when people require budget accommodation and expect a 5 star location expectations will fall short and everything will seem wrong! Yes there is no A/C as it is an 1880 guest house and we advertise the fact. The bell does work but seeing that we are on an acre property,...

Step back in time - Leura House will give you a feel for grander times and lazy days. The architecture and furnishings are simply lovely. Gary, the owner, is a really lovely guy - friendly, helpful and understanding. Our room was perfect - spacious, comfortable and with an excellent modern bathroom. The free wifi worked perfectly all over the hotel....

The B and B was clean, but very tired. Handy location, very friendly. Did not do breakfast as the reviews were not good. Probably would not stay again, but it was a good price and served its purpose. As another reviewer stated, perhaps a little more professionalism might work, but overall it was clean, very large room, ok location. It...

Thank you for your feedback! Actually Leura House is on the right side of the highway as it is the first house in Leura; before the town was mapped out. Britain St where Leura House House is situated was called Ito Parade and would of been the main street of the new town of Leura but was too steep! As...

Leura house is in a handy location within easy walking of the shopping village and restaurants. An old historical house with character but wouldn't stay just because of that. Paid 190 a night and were put in top room - comfortable enough but wouldn't want to pay any more. Were not advised no servicing of rooms on weekends - not...

A lovely historic house with beautiful gardens. Great value for money and the house is walking distance to Leura shops and restaurants. There is a Sunday market 1st Sunday in the month at the bottom of the road which is a great stroll after breakfast. The weather turned cool and the house was heated beautifully.
