Really nice place. Quant, charm, and close to downtown Leura. There was enough privacy for your own retreat, yet in a beautiful stately mansion. You can walk to shops and restaurants in Leura and is a better place to stay than Katoomba.

Hi Rod, Thank you for taking the time to post a review Yes we do have retreats here, especially family get togethers. Being on the quiet side of Leura and only 5 minutes away from Leura Village makes it a great location We hope to see you again when you visit the area! Garry More

This is a lovely old house with spacious areas guest areas and huge and very comfortable bedrooms in a great location. However the breakfast was very disappointing, really basic and uninteresting continental (cooked only on weekends apparently), plus no gluten free bread, despite having requested it for one member of our party.

Hi Anne, Thank you for taking the time to post a review Yes our breakfast is basic but adequate. There is different cereals & toast as well as fruit during the week and weekends there is also a cooked breakfast. My apologies for not providing Gluten free bread. We only have it when a guest requests it on their booking... More

The owner was a bit of a Basil Faulty but in all a pleasant stay The only problem is I had to park the car out on the street every night because of the other selfish gests taking up to much car space.

Hi Chris, Thank you for taking the time to post a review, we appreciate the feedback Occasionally we have guests who park incorrectly or bring more than one car so the carpark overflows We do allow parking on the front lawn in front of the house if the carpark is full, just let me know next time! Thank You Garry More

Fascinating old house, steeped in history. Garry (the host) imparted some wonderful stories of its past. Loved the breakfast setting. Thanks also to Garry for the hand drawn map that enabled us to discover the Blue Mountains from a different perspective.

For our first trip to the Blue Mountain Region this was the perfect spot. Quiet, comfortable, and in an excellent location. A short walk from Leura and a short drive to several tourist overlooks. There is no shortage of beautiful scenery and hikes.
