This was our second trip to Kurrara and the renovations and redecoration looks great. Welcoming hosts, comfy lounge areas, and a good breakfast on the sunny closed in verandah makes for a great base to set off and explore the Blue Mountains.

Great spot with some wonderful rooms. We were in the magnolia suite, which was great. Comfy bed, huge spa, and even a private tea room. The suite was so nice we ended up spending most of the weekend lazing around

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the beautiful Honeysuckle Suite at Kurrara. It was so clean and fresh with lovely linen, drapes & antique furnishings and the bathroom was light and airy. The attention to detail throughout the whole house is amazing - Evelyn & Ian have done a wonderful job and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast...

I thoroughly loved the decor of this magnificent guest house, the finest touches have been applied and you will not want for anything. Breakfast was absolutely divine and the afternoon tea was a welcome treat. The added extras in the room like the port and chocolates were a welcome sight at the end of a day of exploring while we...

I stay here every time Im in the Blue Mountains if I can! Friendly, comfy, with a home-away-from-home feel. Its quiet and perfect for a solo trip, couple or with a friend. The upstairs rooms are cosy and have a beautiful atmosphere, with lovely views. The location is perfect, halfway between Katoomba and the Three Sisters. It has character and...

The common areas were very dim and cluttered, particularly the breakfast arrangements. Breakfast was unusual and dismal. It was also awkward to serve up due to clutter. The croissants were soggy. The female owner was impolite and insincere. The room was very pretty, though for some of the advertised inclusions, we had to go searching around the common areas to...

What a disappointing review! Well we realise that some people just can't be pleased no matter how hard we try! And try we did! We take seriously our duty of care to check in with our guests as to how their day went, what plans for dinner etc. to ensure they are enjoying their stay and seeing all there is...

We enjoyed our two night stay in this beautiful period guesthouse. Walking distance to town. We were very well taken care of. Excellent breakfast as well. We felt like home being here and wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 2 nights in April and enjoyed our stay. It is in a quiet residential area with off street parking. The room was not big but very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. There was not a lot of room for our bags and no closet, just a few coat hangers on...

We stayed at the Kurrara Guest House, Katoomba. Centrally located historic house. Lovely welcome and pleasant rooms. Feels as if you are back in time. We really appreciated the old world atmosphere and charm of the place. Beautiful bed. Lovely breakfast. Everything spotless. Owner very friendly and helpful. Overall wonderful stay. We highly recommend Kurrara to other travelers!

A lovely guest house but as per other reviews, expect rooms on the small size. That said they are well appointed and thought out. Getting into bed the sheets were sooooo crisp and clean they were a real pleasure. Being a 100 year old house expect some creaks as you lay in bed but that only adds to the charm.
