This antique guesthouse has been thoroughly renovated with exquisite taste and thoughtfulness. Limited edition prints decorated the room. Toiletries are of the top quality. Breakfast was delicious and generous. From this place you can walk to trail along the Cliff Drive, Echo Park, or downtown.

Charming, historic house, good location, within walking distance of the main street, shops, restaurants and art galleries. Friendly, helpful owners. Comfortable room with spa and all necessary amenities. Good breakfast. Minor suggestions for improvement: freshly brewed coffee, not from a machine, Bible in room, (most hotels have one and Gideon provides them free), handrails in spa to prevent falls.

Ian and Evelyn were very friendly and helpful, not in our faces but available when we needed them. My partner and I booked the English Rose room and it was lovely with a spacious bathroom and hot tub. Breakfast was great, served at 8 am with delicious options to choose from, our favourite was the croissants (I'm assuming homemade). It...

We took visiting relatives from Holland to stay for 3 nights recently. We were hoping for something special to end their holiday and at Kurrara that is just what we got. There is nothing we could fault during our day. You made our stay exceptional. Thank you our wonderful hosts, we will be back.

Everything about Kurrara Guest House was fantastic. Great bed, fantastic breakfast & always a biscuit or cake to nibble on. Hosts were very helpful without being in your face. We also enjoyed talking to other travellers in a relaxed lounge area. Just book it - you won't be disappointed.

From the first moment we walked through the door of this property, which has been a guest house continually since 1902, we were smitten. Great style, decor, friendly greetings. Afternoon tea was served not long after we arrived - tea, coffee, home made cakes and biscuits. Free port and a TV room with an extensive DVD collection available for free...

My wife and I were visiting Katoomba with her parents who are visiting from Russia. The Kurrara Guest House was beautiful in every way. No detail was spared and the service was fantastic. I consider myself a seasoned traveller and have come from 15 years hotel/hospitality management and this was one of the most enjoyable 1 night stays I have...
