Beautiful old classic guest house - with reminders of Victorian England !!! Wish we could have stayed longer. A truly lovely place to relax after a long mountain walk or just soak up the atmosphere with a traditional tea in vintage everything !!! Stunning and friendly home away from home . A place I would come as a solo retreat just for me or even a group of friends to enjoy the nature and yoga next time maybe.

We’ve just returned from a short stay at Kurrara. This guest house is just charming. It’s beautifully furnished with so much character. Our room was snuggly warm (winter stay) spacious and had lots of little extras. Complimentary breakfast was substantial. We’d love to return

Stayed in Kurrara Historic Guest House for a long weekend. The guest house located at a quiet street. About 10~15 mins walk to the Katoomba town center with plenty of cafe and restaurants. The echo point and trails are also within the walking distance. The historic house is well maintained. The host has a great taste. All furnishes and decorations are wisely chosen and match with the house nicely. The garden was also lovely. The beautiful autumn leaves add extra charm to it. The breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff made some perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. The tea collection was amazing. You could stay for entire month and have different tea every day. The room we had might be the smallest one in the entire house, though still warm and cosy. The bathroom, however, was the reason I didn't give a 5 stars. The shower head was too low. If you are 180cm or taller, you'll find yourself a very awkward position when trying to take shower. There's also not enough space and clothing hanger in the bathroom. Having said that, it could just be our room which as said was the smallest one. Overall, it's a warm and cosy place. Perfect for couples to spend a peaceful weekend.

I just spent 3 days on a yoga retreat at this absolutely delightful guest house in Katoomba. Accomodation was lovely... olde world... very comfortable beds and great sitting areas. The yoga room is amazing. Very light filled and comfortably accommodates 10 students. Evelyn, our delightful host had everything organised. Lunch and dinner from a great vegetarian chef was brought in each day for lunch and dinner adding to the ease of hiring this space for a retreat. Breakfast is supplied at the guest house. All scrumptious with a most amazing collection of teas!!! I would definitely return not just for a retreat ...it’s also a great place to stay on a visit to the blue mountains. Beautifully maintained in a great position. Thank you for an amazing 3 days

We were shown to the beautiful and very spacious English Rose Room after a personal warm welcome by the owners of this gorgeous Guest House. The furnishings, gardens, everything, were just lovely, authentic, and luxurious. The complimentary port in our room was a lovely surprise! The kitchen staff were outstanding and the included breakfast each day was much more than just standard stuff. Thank you Louise! We would love to stay here again on our next trip back to the Blue Mountains, and recommend it very highly to anyone looking for a haven of old worldly elegance, that is close to town, but with plenty to occupy you within itself and its grounds. Thanks to owners Ian and Evelyn for a wonderful stay.
