I thoroughly enjoyed staying for weekend at Echoes. The general manager Bryant was very attentive, professional and looked after my family very well. The views are stunning and having access to facilities at Lilianfels makes it a great place to stay.

A birthday weekend to remember. Echoes has all the ingredients for the perfect winter weekend escape. Rooms are elegant and comfortable - although soundproofing could be improved. We had a balcony from which you could walk out to a garden and then experience exceptional views...More

We stayed in May and loved it. It was like staying in someone's big house and was very intimate. Nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was fantastic for both dinner and breakfast. Room was well appointed and just what you want for...More

Our 1 night stay was sleepless and frustrating. I'd like a partial refund based on the acrid stench of fireplace burnoff from somewhere in the hotel that penetrated one of our rooms ALL NIGHT and caused coughing and headaches. That was just icing on the...More

Hi there. As I recall (also my first visit there) we drove into the town of Katoomba about 10 mins to check out the many eateries. I am sure the hotel can recommend any nearby convenience stores. It also has a small... More

It is possibly a 5 min taxi ride to Echoes. If you are young and fit and happy to walk it is quite hilly and would take you approx. 20min to walk. Personally, I would take the taxi. Arrive comfortable.
