This beautiful old home is tucked away on a quiet neighborhood street. Our suite was huge and stunning. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the linens of high quality and the breakfast served in our room was delicious. The location is convenient to the Blue Mt. sights and within walking distance of central Tanunda. The only con was the bathing situation....

Melba House is perfectly located in Katoomba; close to the main shopping district but just far enough away from the busyness of it all. We stayed in the Nellie room which is the largest. The decor creates a romantic relaxing atmosphere. Would have loved to had a fire but it wasn't quite winter, though the weather was wintry (there is...

We stayed two nights at this No1 TripAdvisor b&b on our one month stay in NSW. The weather was not good when we visited as it was mainly rain and mist. Upon arrival, we noticed that the two entrances to Melba House were gravel paths and as we had two very heavy suitcases it meant lugging them over the paths...

Beautifully decorated rooms only one block away from the shops, cafes and restaurants in the main Street of Katoomba. Clean, large, beuatifully decorated room with small dining table where you can eat your breakfast each morning. Quiet, private and an easy walk into town. Sue (and Issy) are both lovely providing friendly service and a well cooked and presented hot...

We stayed at Melba's for my birthday weekend, without the kids, combined with a visit to the Blue Mountains Music Festival. We were not disappointed! Sue is truly the most wonderful hostess. Absolutely nothing is a problem. She is a wealth of knowledge on the local area and thoughtful in every aspect of taking care of her guests. The breakfast...

This B & B changed our whole view of this form of accommodation. Our stay was wonderful. Melba's is located a short walk from the main shopping area, so restaurants, shops and the Hop on Hop Off bus stops are so close you won't even need your car. But it is just far enough away to be so quiet. The...

A beautiful B&B full of character and thoughtful touches to make our stay memorable. Warmly greeted by our hostess Sue and her dog Issy nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Dame Joan, was extremely comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Cake was on hand in the foyer to have with a cup of tea or plunger coffee. Or a glass of...

We couldn't have been better looked after by our wonderful host Sue who made our stay so comfortable. She goes the extra mile to provide snacks, home made cakes and an excellent range of teas and coffee options as well as port in your room. In addition we were treated to a range of fresh towels each day of our...
