Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just back from 2 nights stay at this beautiful Alpine lodge with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, Claire an David. From bringing us tea or coffee in the evening as we sat in the cosy wood fire heated lounge to serving us wonderful coffee, ground specially in Melbourne , and delicious breakfast each morning, we were so well taken care of! Room was beautifully decorated, as was the Lodge, very comfortable with a spectacular view over Lake Jindabyne. Loved the Snowy Mountain toiletries provided and the great shower after a day of skiing! Highly recommend staying here while in Jindabyne!

Claire and David are absolutely awesome hosts, very attentive, informative, and accomodating. We especially loved that they were always available for a chat and some anecdotes sharing. The place is very well-located, 10min away from the shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beyond expectations. David has some serious barista skills! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a place in the Snowy Mountains.

Stayed at the lodge recently for two nights mid week. Can’t say enough about Claire and David’s hospitality, that’s so what makes this lodge a great stay. In addition the lodge has very comfortable rooms, great common area, a terrific breakfast included in the o/n rate, and great views over the lake. With only eight rooms it truely offers that boutique feel that is so often promised but seldom delivered. Highly recommend, thanks Claire and David we will be back.

A great Alpine lodge, well-located, tastefully renovated, comfortably appointed, and served with great dedication and attention-to-detail by owners Claire & David. Really comfortable and scrupulously clean rooms, with their very own range of beautifully scented toiletries (Snowy Mountains Soap Merchants). The breakfasts were superb; including home-made Bircher muesli, other cereals, three types of artisanal bread, cheeses, ham, eggs, and a couple of times on our 6-day stay fresh croissants & pain-au-chocolat. Oh, and David knocks out barista espresso coffees, alongside a wide range of pots of tea. The dining room and lower garden also provide great spaces for post-walk/cycle/ski drinks and takeaway with plenty of space for suitable physical distancing, if still required when you go... Claire & David were also very attentive, helpful, interesting, and dare-I-say-it charming hosts. Thanks for an awesome post-COVID-lockdown getaway, wonderfully refreshing - Paul & Amanda =)

We were fortunate enough to receive a late booking on NYE. The room was delightful, stylishly decorated, comfortable new bed and a modern bathroom with a rain shower. A delicious breakfast and good coffee was included with the extremely well-priced accommodation. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, serving coffee and tea on request and providing advice on local restaurants, walks etc. An absolute pleasure to stay here.

Awesome place to stay at Jindabyne, The rooms are clean and fresh, The common areas are inviting. The breakfast is healthy and filling. Hosts Claire and David are friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They're also a wealth of useful information about the area. Couldn't wish for anything more in a Jindabyne accomodation - we'll definitely be back.

This place is a real gem! Don't pay the sky high accommodarion feed in Thredbo - just 25mim away you can stay in a authentic skiing lodge. Great facilities, cosy rooms and a well prepared big breakfast buffet with eggs, cheese, cold cuts, several typea of bread and all your usual continental breakfast with beautiful fruit and veg. Highly recommend this place. Great value.

Suitable for the whole family this cosy lodge a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Jindabyne is the perfect place to stay next time you visit the snow. Clean, classy and well appointed, nothing has been overlooked in the stylish renovation that the friendly hosts have undertaken here since taking over ownership. All the little touches that make great holiday memories have been thought of. Comfortable beds, cosy lounge with an open fire, games area, drying room, reading areas, and a view of the lake second to none. An easy drive to the snow each day at a rate much less than staying on the slopes. Breakfast is included and the range of foods included is excellent - all eating requirements are catered for and special requests are no trouble. You can even get real coffee! The guest fridge, sandwich toaster and microwave make it easy to prepare post skiing snacks. The bright clean dining area is ideal for enjoying a takeaway meal and a glass of wine purchased at the town shops. The private bathrooms are small but modern, with quality products and plenty of towels (though I do wish they were a little fluffier). Parking is available on the street. Bookings are easily made and the hosts take the time to know and remember each guest, to make your stay personal. I would happily stay again.

We have just ordered new towels as the current ones are now at their end so yes, we know they coming up to their use by date! And all of our old towels will be donated to the RSPCA, LAOKO (Looking After Our Kosciuszko Orphans) and Snowy Vets for their final use.

Really great location, amenities and super friendly customer service - we had an emergency situation with a young child as soon as we arrived and they really went above and beyond to accomodate the best possible plan of action to make sure we received the best possible care. Highly recommend!
