Perfect place to stay we went for skiing with a group of friends .
The hosts are super friendly , the rooms are clean and neat and the breakfast is more than ample to set you up for the day .
The location nakes it really easy to access transporet to the runs , and you are welcomed back after a day out in the very social recreation rooms .
Very good value for a trip to the mountains .

We live in Sydney and are regular patrons and love coming to Hannas hutte with our children. The owners and staff are welcoming and accomodating. The full breakfast is satifying and the lodge is clean and friendly.

We were looking for a budget family lodge. We didn't expect large rooms, or extras like shampoo etc. What we did expect was a welcome , a CLEAN place & a decent breakfast. We were very disappointed. The host was unfriendly, the windows & sheets looked dirty & the breakfast was horrible. We certainly will not be returning.

I recently stayed at Hannas Hutte as part of a large group heading up to the Snowy Mountains for a ski weekend. Missing light bulbs and peeling paint abound, Hanna's is definitely budget accommodation. Bunk beds, built from plywood were cramped at best and the ensuite was barely big enough to turn around in.

All said, we didn't stay here for the accommodation. We stayed here for because the group was looking to do a ski weekend on a budget. If you come in with budget level expectations, you won't be disappointed. But you probably won't be impressed either. The included breakfast is very minimal and you should expect to become familiar with the hygiene habits of those staying in other rooms through what I would consider more on par with a hostel than a B&B.

You'll stay warm, and you'll have a bed and a bathroom, but don't expect a whole lot more. Pricing is on par with budget level accommodation, perhaps slightly on the high side.

Prices are what they are in peak season; we went just after peak and the rates were very reasonable. To top it off, the manager/owner was very friendly and approachable: I had the sense that he takes pride in this place and it shows. We were in the separate outside room at the bottom of the house and it was perfect - very spacious and away from the crowds upstairs. We did take a tour of the house and any of the orther rooms would have been fine too.

The lounge areas are great, including the pool room with a fire going in the fire place. The cooked breakfast was sufficient - not as elaborate as you'd find in a hotel but very nice. Location is great, parking on the grounds.

I was really delighted and will be back next year.

Ok so it's a bit old and you only get what you pay for but...... Not the most welcoming place, as we arrived we chuckled before exiting the vehicle and said hmmmm maybe I should have paid the extra couple of hundred for the other place..... Anyway after a few rings of the bell I had to go and find someone to check in. We got shown to our room and just went oh.... thanks.
The beds were comfortable but in need of some serious replacements and thank god I don't have a bad back anymore.
Breakfast was below average with 2 eggs and 1 rasher if bacon, there was cereal and toast but you wouldn't call it the best breaky.
The bathroom was a complete joke as you can see the toilet pic I uploaded gave you about 150-200mm to the wall so your knees are squashed into it, and the left side is about 60mm off the wall, needless to say anyone other than a small child would struggle to function in that environment. Mould and un cleaned benches and DIY fix ups..... Old mate should use some of the tariffs to completely overhaul the place starting with the bathrooms and bedding and you would see a great return from an investment like that.
All in all I wouldn't stay there again but for a bed and shower it did the job.

Have been here a few times now with the family and always have a terrific stay. Friendly manager and staff are always welcoming. The rooms are fine and breakfast is always great. The lounge areas though are what makes the lodge outstanding. The cosy open fire in the downstairs lounge and large windows and pool table in the upstairs lounge, make staying here a pleasure.

My partner and I and a group of friends needed last minute accommodation and this was the perfect find. It is in a very good spot, very close to everything. The hosts are so friendly and the service is very efficient. Very clean and cosy and ideal for couples and groups. We will definitely be back!

We were In Jindabyne in January for a few days, We stayed here as a base for bushwalking in the mountains and canoeing and swimming in the lake. The lodge was great value and suited our family very well. The kids really enjoyed the games room and entertainment area and our room was clean and comfortable. The lodge location is convenient and only a short walk to the centre of town. We had a terrific family holiday and a very relaxing stay.
