Worried that I've just read a review from 2022 stating that he mattresses were badly stained. We stayed very end of October in a Lake View lodge. The single bed/ bunk mattresses are not fit for a dog to sleep on. See photo unbelievably stained and ripped. On reporting this to reception we were told that there were no replacement mattresses available and new ones had been ordered..I wonder whether that is at all true? Also we question whether the mattress protectors are changed after each visit as the staff do not make the beds up because of the awkward angles. The lodges are old and tired but functionable however asking paying guests to sleep on disgusting beds is dreadful.

Hi babblu1998, thank you for sending us your feedback. We're disappointed to hear that you had an issue with mattresses in your late view villa, as outlined to you via my staff, we are in the process of having these replaced, there is a procurement process which we are to follow and this does take time. The other issues around the replacement of mattresses protectors and making of beds was outlined to you as well and we did provide you with options to relocate to another room. Once again we thank you for your feedback. Kirrily and Fred Park Managers.

Unfortunately we could only stay one night in this delightful park on the edge of the lake - would have loved to stay longer. Our cabin was spotless and the extra touches like bottled water, a bag of lollies and hand sanitizer are welcoming and thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the park is fantastic, right on the lake, with its own boat ramp, close to the (incredibly expensive) shops.
Not all sites are level, and some can be awkward to manouvre into, but it is a very, very pretty park. Most staff are helpful, particularly Meg, who went over and above in what I would expect someone to do in helping me. The amenities are kept super clean, and the showers are hot with amazing pressure.Camp kitchen is well appointed for the size of the park, and also kept super clean. I love that there is a herb garden for people who like that sort of thing, and a specific reading room.
Prices are reasonable, and even cheaper for NRMA members.

We had a lake view room and the view was amazing, overlooking the lake and the mountains. We were at the end of the park so it was nice and quiet. The location is great as it is so close to town The villa is small, especially for a room that sleeps 6. The aircon isn’t strong enough to keep the small villa warm, the extra small portable heater along with the aircon has to be used to keep the warmth in the villa. The wall heater in the main bedroom was great and kept the main bedroom nice and warm. Bedding supplied for the bunk beds however the beds are unmade, besides a mattress protector on the mattress. The mattresses are so gross and stained. I don’t mind putting the sheets on the bed, however it would probably be best to use a full mattress protector over the beds if the mattresses are so badly stained. The whole villa is very run down, with mould in the bathroom and every window. I understand the moisture in the area due to the location, however all it would take for the windows is a wipe down during the clean. I have noticed mould has been mentioned in previous complaints so it’s disappointing that it haven’t been addressed.

The place is okay. The caravans are at a good distance, everyone has their own privacy. However, the Landry leaves much to be desired. On the size of the place there are clearly too few washing machines. Annoying is the proportion of machines with hot or hot water. The showers are fine but the faucets should be fixed, it is not nice if you hold them in your hand while showering and have to tinker again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all it is a good place and recommended.

The outstanding service was second to none. I stayed here on the way to Perisher for a charity trek with RU OK? I stayed on the Thursday night and the staff kindly let me a store a bag there until my return on Sunday. Both nights were great. After I checked out and not until I was on a bus did I realise I left my hand made and very sentimental walking pole in my room. I rang the Park and explained and asked them if they could look after it until I could work something out. I found a courier company and organised for them to pick it up and deliver it to my house. Kirrily, the Park Manager, went above and beyond. Not only was my walking pole retrieved from my cabin, it was packaged in a plastic tube and the staff even placed the labels from the courier company on it,then Kirrily emailed to say it had been picked up. So unexpected and so awesome. I now have the best place to stay each time we visit Jindabyne.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We loved the drying room so our snow gear could dry out overnight. The amenities were very clean and heated making it nice and comfortable to shower during the colder climates. We walked across the road to Woolworths. Great bakery over there too, which opens nice and early. The camp kitchen was adequate. Would have been nice to enclose it cause it was so cold. The view of the lake was spectacular and the footpath made for plenty of exploring via foot, scooter or bike. The reading room was a nice quiet space for those who wanna read in peace. We would definitely ce back here. We absolutely loved the cleanliness, facilities, location and friendly staff.

We have been coming to Jindabyne for the past 7 years same time every year. I absolutely love the place and its handy location to the mountains and shops. The only negative i would give this park is every year we are on a lake view site near the boat ramp. These sites are premium sites, why do they put caravans on the unpowered sites blocking the view of people who pay premium dollar for these sites. The unpowered sites oposite the powered sites should be be for tents or small campers. Kirily and Freddy were great managers and the new managers will have big shoes to fill and i do wish them well. Feb 2024 was our last year at this time. Amenties are spotless and the park is kept extremely neat and tidy.

The location right in town was great for walking to the cafes etc but was incredibly noisy with traffic noise from the main road. This was made worse by our powered site right on the entrance road to the park. No privacy, noisy and fumes but a fantastic view of the bins. If they put you on site 48, ask to go somewhere else. Clean facilities etc but we left a day early as couldn't stand the noise.

Hi Journey48620494279, thank you for sending us your feedback. We're disappointed to hear your stay wasn't what you you were expecting, when we are able to shift guests to sites with nicer views we will do this first, however when we are heavily booked this is not always achievable. We will always take a guests issues on board, however some things are out of our control. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the location of our Park and how close to town it is. We hope we can welcome you back in the future - Fred and Kirrily Holz, Park Managers.

This NRMA holiday park in the heart of Jindabyne is fabulous with the managers always around to help and make the park something special. We have a big group and we return year after year for 2 weeks over Christmas and new year. The park facilities are always being improved to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you for coffee van in the mornings (not free) and pancake and bacon and eggs roll days that you provided for free. Thanks for the fire pit up at the office some nights and the fantastic pizza oven. The addition of a herb garden was well used. The addition of power to front sites near the lake would be fantastic. Thank you Freddy and Kerrily, see you next year.
