I chose to book in camping for my recent snowboarding trip. I am very glad I camped here. The amenities were amazing; a fully equipped rec room with TV, lounges, pool table, cooking area including BBQ and stoves with ovens all indoors away from the cold of winter!
The bathroom amenities were clean and in great condition. Lights were on a motion sensor that also turned on the heaters in the bathroom when you enter. Perfect for the cold! Was able to shower and then warm up straight afterward in front of the heater.
There was a drying room we could use to dry out our ski gear for a small fee and there was also a second amenities block with more showers and toilets with a coin operated laundry attached to it.
To make it even better there were kangaroos to greet us in the morning when we woke up. It had also snowed one of the nights and it was absolutely magical.
We checked in late and all of the I formation needed was texted out to us before our arrival later in the night.
Was so happy with this past weekend I’m returning next weekend for another stay!
It was a smooth, fun and all round perfect stay in my books!

We absolutely loved our trip. Definitely coming back. We were on site 35 and it was great, a perfect distance from amenities block B (which we were told is soon to be refurbed) and it fit our camper trailer & 4WD with ease.
Of an evening we enjoyed keeping warm by our dedicated site camp fire, *Note keep an eye on your food, the local possums are cheeky and very friendly.
We were so thrilled that we had snow, incredible to wake up to and we were greeted by Roos. It was a wonderful quick trip up to Perisher for a day of skiing.
We bought wood from the park and utilised the kitchen to wash up and fill hot water bottles.
Thank you to the park Managers Sushil & Priyanka.
Over all very happy campers.

HIDDEN GEM - You know when you have had an amazing weekend away in a beautiful pace, then you don’t want to go home and when you get home you get on the phone and re book for 3 nights. Amazing central location.
My husband and I booked the Heritage chalet for 2 night it was quiet, it has silent heating so you can have it on all night and sleep well. The bed was great, we had electric blanket so it was cosy on the queen bed you had a sheet set and a thin coverlet, but I took the thin coverlet off the bed and used the 2 single feather doonas of the single bed so it was so cosy in the warm bed (next time I will take my donna from home)
The chalet was very clean, the kitchen had every think that you need it was great to have a very big flying pan, so we could cook inside and not having to use the BBQ outside in the cold.
The showers had very hot which was just to die for in the cold.
Everyone in the park was friendly and would say hello or give us a wave as they went past.
The staff was very helpful, and friendly hosts and would go out of there was to help when needed.

Mt Kosciusko was named a after Polish freedom fighter. If you want freedom, especially in winter or summer but all year round as well, this Park is for you. Sure you can camp at Diggings or Ngarigo on the Thredbo River for free and dive into the Thredbo river for refreshment, but if you want a good shower and shave, a place to camp under trees, a place to rest your wagon (with power), a place to light a fire to sit by (If Total fire ban is not on), a place to relax and stare at lovely gum trees, a base camp to approach Kosciusko main range walk, to search for an apple turnover at Jindabyne, or head to Thredbo for a swim at gym at 1450 meters to get the lungs going, or to downhill mountain bike, or dine at Thredbo pub, or go to the BluesFest in january, or Ski, in a friendly atmosphere run by people who like people, this place is for you. There is also a camp kitchen that offers a great base for groups to cook communally and create community.

Same as the other victim(s), I booked and paid the deposit for 2021 snow season. Due to COVID stay-at-home order, Kosipark agreed to give a credit for the upcoming 12 months, while I used that to book for Sep 2021, they charge a tariff higher than what they listed on the website, when I ask them to rectify it, they claim they can freely change the tariff without notify the customer, meanwhile, they updated their website with terms and condition that they would change tariff without notice from time to time (which apparently not align with the pricing section of consumer law in NSW).
So, think it twice before you book with them, you may ruin your holiday with this decision, I understand the choice of the area is limited, but don't risk your holiday and make yourselves to join us as one of the victim.
If you're already one of us, I urge you to publish your experience, to let the traveler aware of their risk before booking, launch a complaint with NSW fairtrade and NCAT Tribunal if they are not refunding/settle fairly.
I understand it's a hard time in COVID, but I wish the business can operate with rules and order, we shall overcome this pandemic together, please DO NOT rip off your customer and damage the trustworthy of NSW business practice.

This is a cabin in a national park, with full amenities that sleeps six, two bunks x 2 and a queen size bed. This includes a kitchen that will do the job. The only down side is you have to bring your own sheets or spend $15 for sheets if you prefer, we improvised by sleeping in our sleeping bags for ease....the cabins are not super modern but great for the price for what’s included for the number of beds. The cabins are spaced out with surrounding camp sites and it feels like you are in Mother Nature because of the natural setting of large trees, kangaroos near the bush, it’s in a national park and you’re bot crammed in. The surrounding campsites we found to be super quiet and didn’t notice any noise one bit. The location offers the convenience of being close to both Perisher and Thredbo and Jindabyne so close by for all your adventure activities. We personally stayed here as a base to do the mt kosiosko climb. Would come again as it’s value for money...

Booked a normal 2 bedroom cabin months ago and in May called and upgraded to the newer cabin for extra cost. The cabin was really nice, very good size for a couple or a small family. The upgraded cabin was looked amazing also the heating was really good.
The only thing we weren't happy about is that one day before we checked in, spoke to Sushil, the Manager and he asked if we needed the bunks beds done up in both rooms as the queen bed's in the living room sort of. I advised Sushil just to do both bottom bunk beds and he said ok no worries. When we got there to check in, i was charged an extra $30 for adding beddings to the bottom bunk beds. I had to pay no choice but this so ridiculous as we paid for the 2 bedroom cabin also paid for the upgrade, if there are bunk beds and if we need them made up, why charge for this service? Sushil gave us a free bag of wood most probably to make it up but that is not the point, i still feel very cheated about this. Sushil also asked me a few times how many of us are going to be there which is fair enough but when a two bedroom is booked, we pretty much know how many people are allowed.
Sushil needs to be more clear on the charges because it is not right and fair to do this when people are checking in with no choice but to pay.

We booked accommodation, only for it to be Cancelled last minute so management could resell at higher cost. No certainty offered for booking with Kosciusko Tourist Park - Avoid at all costs and go somewhere else. Very unpleasant experience. Left our family high and dry for our ski holiday.

Be very aware when booking this park. July school holidays, several of my family came down with COVID several days before our planned camping ski trip.. All other costs associated with our ski trip have been held as credits for future use, however,Kosciuszko Tourist Park, even though peak holiday season being fully booked out, having no doubt they would have double booked our site, refused to allow us to at least reschedule our booking. To add insult, without us knowing they automatically debited our credit card for the remaining balance for the booking. I feel like we were kicked when already down. Be very aware of the fine print when making a booking with them and understand that once they have your credit card details they will happily ensure they are fully paid even during these difficult times with COVID.

This past year due to Covid we were unable to travel and the team at the Kosciuszko Tourist Park worked with us regarding refunds and credits. We are excited for 2022 as we have rebooked our winter snow camping and can’t wait. Great service, great location.

No, the national park fee is collected by that government organisation and the accommodation is privately run.
Yes we had mobile reception and had no problem with using devices via mobile hotspot.
