We spent a week here on a powered site. We had a drive through site, with a double slab for the van and awning. Run by owners Ross & Bridgit we got a very warm welcome. This is a quiet little gem clean amenities lots of room and friendly people. Good value too. Will be back

One of the best small family parks we have stayed in with 20 years on the road. Big shady grassed drive through sites, immaculate facilities and good fun hosts make this park an absolute standout for an overnight or extended stay to explore the district.

We have stayed at the Glen Rest a couple of times now. The onsite managers are lovely people and only to happy to answer any questions you might have about this beautiful part of the country. There are so many different things to see and do in this area and its great to have a clean, comfortable and happy place to return to at days end.

Room Tip: We have stayed on the grassed area and on a slab site - both were fine.

One overnight stay on a powered site was enough for me. Owner was absent so a resident (delegate) directed me to a site. He advised me that he'd direct me onto the site. I refused his offer twice. As a former semi, truck and trailer driver, driver training instructor and license testing officer, I do not need some random telling me to left hand down, right hand down. as I was reversing onto ground next to the slab, he yelled STOP STOP STOP!! Why? So he could walk in front of my vehicle to his van from where he and another resident had been gawking from. That annoyed the crap out of me.. Then I went to Gents toilets and showers that night, to discover that whilst clean, there was no urinal, one WC, one shower in a bath and another on tiles. All were from the 60's/70's perhaps earlier. Two extra switches were located after a search, to illuminate the showers and basins. With an injured ankle i wasn't prepared to search lout other possible toilets and showers. Two stars as it was clean and the lady in the office was apparently friendly. Next to the highway, the sound of heavy transport was evident to us, even through a well sound proofed van. Never again.

I stayed in cabin. Dirty floors, smelly unit, broken stove, wet chairs after they were washed though still looked dirty. Television not working and little toilet paper. Awful experience. Manager informed. At least he was able to get tv working. Showed him dirty bath mat used to clean up spilt water.

This is a small, very well run caravan park with immaculate amenities and tidy, well kept sites. Ross, Brigitte, Helen and Bill all go that extra mile to ensure your stay is trouble free and most enjoyable. Just a short drive from Glen Innes CBD the park is set in peaceful rural surroundings. Thoroughly recommend Glen Rest Tourist Park.

We had a reservation at this Park for an overnight Site Stay. When we pulled in I was somewhat put off by the almost “Service Station” exterior appearance of the Reception Office. That, however, definitely belied our overall experience. We were genuinely welcomed by Brigitte and her “Apprentice” and escorted to the site to ensure we were happy. When we asked about the distance to town to walk due to the fact we wanted to stay “hooked up” for our overnight, Brigitte offered many times to drive us to town so we could access an ATM. The Park is well maintained, Amenities spotless and as others have mentioned the only issue seemed to be Highway Noise - or so we thought - if there was an issue during the night it didn’t affect us - we slept straight through! Would certainly stay here again.

Stopped here for 5 nights based on TA reviews. The park itself is quite small but very well maintained, with good sized sites for large vans. Warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Amenities were well kept and always clean with plenty of hot water. The only downside was the road noise - especially from the large trucks that seem to belt through at all hours of the day and night.
