Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly and helpful staff. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed. The shops in the Main Street was a short walk from the park. The park is on the highway but you couldn’t hear the traffic it was fairly quiet. For staying in the park you received three cents a litre off there bowser price.

Stayed overnight in a studio villa which had a queen bed and also a set of 3 bunk beds we didn’t need as there were just the two of us.
Location is great because you can step out of the back gate & the RSL (at one end of the main drag) is only about 400 metres away. Woolies is right next door to the RSL so if you intend to self-provision life is sweet. There were plenty of good looking cafes/pubs along the main drag, but in these Covid times many were only offering takeaway and some are closed.
The brick-built villas are ‘semis’, with a wall down the centre. We did get a little early morning noise coming through the wall from next door but nothing excessive, certainly when compared to the tradies in the villa opposite starting their monster truck at 4 am & running the engine for 5 minutes right outside our bedroom window. The bed and bedding were both good, the kitchenette area functional and well provisioned, the bathroom maybe a little tired, but the shower was good with plenty of hot water & the whole villa was spotlessly clean. Table & chairs is supplied indoors as well as outside if you prefer to eat alfresco.
Overall, a comfortable overnight stay, in a great location, at a reasonable price. Would probably stay again, but most likely with our own camping gear rather than in a villa as it’s the location that’s the real winner.

We stayed in cabin number 5. Cabin was really clean and the park was neat, tidy and quiet. Lady at the front desk was really lovely. Loads of information on fossicking including the demonstration and assistance given for beginners. There’s also a petrol pump at the front where people staying there get 3 cents per litre off. Great place to stay!!

This is a small but very well-run park which has seen a lot of hard work resulting in a beautifully presented property. We stayed in an all-brick cabin with top facilities; the kitchen area was exceptional. Everything was spotless, very modern and functional. Well priced and good value for money. We will be staying here again.

We have stayed here 3 times now and love it here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it is not a huge park but very complete. A fully functional camp kitchen, modern clean amenities with heaps of hot water. The sites allow you to put your van alongside a pad and then your veh alongside that. Because there is nothing much for the kids in this park it is great for the older people relaxing for a few days to explore the area that is rich in heritage with a celtic background. Dont miss the Australian Standing Stones or the Strawberry farm. :-)

What a great small park. Friendly staff only to willing to help with town knowledge. Close to town centre and RSL out the back gate that is kept locked. Amenities well presented and cleaned regularly. Being small park you felt like you were camping in a friend's back yard and in the morning you could even here the chickens. Sites a good size with a slab for convenience

I really liked it. We were on a powered site with an ensuite. Great shower, clean loo and plenty of room.
Park was small so not too many people. Camp kitchen was clean with comfortable chairs. I think people expect too much sometimes when all you need is some peace and quiet, a hot shower and clean amenities.
It's also a five minute walk to the club, woolies and other shops.
