Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This wasn’t a great experience. Very run down motel, reception not onsite. Cigarette butts outside the room. All furniture and fittings run down. The manager was pleasant enough when he was there. We got what we paid for. Cannot recommend.

The motel and grounds are tired. The room was clean enough, the bed ok and the shower had plenty of pressure. The motel is located far enough off the main road that you can’t hear the traffic and is a short 10/15 min walk to town. The young fella at reception was pleasant and friendly. The Anna Bella is ok for a budget overnight stay if you don’t need any bells or whistles

Pleasant reception Staff. The room is dated and the property needs some TLC. Bed was comfortable enough and shower had plenty of pressure. The motel is far enough off the highway so you couldn’t hear the traffic. The motel was located a 15 or so minutes away from town.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews. If you’re realistic that this is a cheap hotel for a night or 2, it is perfect. Yes, it’s old and dated, but clean, a comfy bed, a good hot shower and clean towels. Friendly reception and close enough to town. Would stay again if passing through.

The only plus is that it was cheap. Room was small, shower outlet required replacement, shower cubicle leaked throughout bathroom, mould evident on walls and ceiling. Still typing because TripAdvisor requires at least 200 words to accept a review.

It needs a serious upgrade.Front doors are very old and don’t close properly. Room not cleaned very well. Beds are comfortable. Grass around the place badly needs mowing. Bloke at reception was rude and not very helpful. WIFI was non terrible in rooms down back.

We spent three nights here as our base to look around the Glen Innes area. Small but comfortable rooms, quiet and cheap. Friendly staff and a random assortment of guests made for an eclectic stay in this quaint town

Stayed 3 nights - lovely, comfortable and friendly staff. Great value for money. Rooms laid out well. Wonderful shower pressure and warm water. Perhaps some plates for use with the toaster would have been helpful.

This property has a rating #4 for good value in Glen Innes accommodation. Unfortunately this motel needs a lot of maintenance and repair in order to be considered good value. The front doors are old & damaged and the locks unreliable. Bathroom towel rails have been installed in inconvenient positions, obviously by a non-professional. The doona cover was worn thin & must be over 30 years old. We could easily hear our neighbour. “Continental” breakfast was just bread for us to toast. The tariff is on the lower end of the town’s accommodation but that doesn’t mean it’s good value. The owners are very friendly but the state of the motel and grounds was disappointing.

A very clean & tidy motel, lovely friendly owners, and an excellent price to boot. 15 minute walk into town, lovely historic buildings & nice friendly people. Excellent meals at the Great Central Hotel with a coffee shop/dining on the corner.
