Motel is in a great location walking distance to clubs pubs etc. Room was very clean with a basic kitchen. We had a continental breakfast included which was very nice. You have to remember this is a little country town so not much is open after 3pm but lovely to stroll around. My biggest complaint is motel owner he is not the most friendliest person he needs to work on his people skills.

This motel is very close to all amenities in Cowra and a couple of minutes away from the Peace bell. And yet is so quiet! The room is a good size, the bed so comfortable, we had a real good nights sleep. The owners were away during our stay, but the couple who looked after the place were lovely. Very helpful and friendly, the lady even checked with us later in the evening if everything was okay. Will book again when in Cowra.

This little motel is very clean and quiet. Conveniently located with the delightful new Kendal Street Cafe a short 2 min walk. The pool mentioned on this site does not and has never existed. Unfortunately the manager is altogether not a people person, and maybe he needs to retire back to Cairns at his earliest convenience. Maybe telling motel guests how much you hate Cowra and “wouldn’t live there if you paid him” was not his finest moment! He had a brusque manner not conducive to the hospitality industry. Having been in the industry myself for eighteen years my motto was always be friendly and welcoming no matter what personal crisis you may be having at any given time, your guests must always feel like VIP’s and not an inconvenience. Needless to say, the cleanest room and comfiest bed will never compensate for an unfriendly host. Never. We won’t be back and we travel to Cowra several times a year to visit family there.

Response from Adrian Jorgensen, Owner at Cowra Crest Motel

Your check in was very freindly and we joked with each other Later on I was out in the kitchen and I heard someone in the office abusing my wife, something about a pool. My wife called out to me and I come into the office and was immediately set apon with statements that we are falsely advertising that we have a pool and it does not exist. You were very agressive and I asked you a number of times to not to speak to me in an agressive and insulting manner. But the tirade kept on coming. You told me that when your husband booked the room he asked if we had a pool and that I said yes and that you were sitting next to your husband and heard this. The fact is when your husband called me , he asked if we had any rooms available and I said what room would you like,, he said your best one, we agreed on a price and no time was I asked about a pool. The fact is that we do not have a pool and it not exisisted for 5 years, we do not advertise we have a pool on any of the websites we advertise on, as explained to you but you would not listen or see reason about this. You kept on with your abusive behaviour and I said if you are not happy I will refund your money and you can go to another Motel with a pool. You declined this offer. Then you said you have been here before and there was a pool, I checked our records that go back to 2012 and there is no record of you staying here. If you were in the industry for 18 years as you said you would not hurl the abuse my wife and I copped from you. We have very good reviews on Trip Adviser as reviewers have seen. I have owned motels for over ten years now and this has been the worst experience I have had with a customer. It makes me question why we work 7 days a week and 14 hour days to cop this abuse on line and in person.

Just a good basic motel in a good location. Very comfortable, clean and tidy but getting a bit dated. Very large room with very small bathroom, but quite adequate... Good for a stop over on a road trip at a reasonable price,.

We stayed for two nights. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. The motel was right on the main Street but quiet. The complementary continental breakfast was generous. Book direct to support local businesses rather than overseas booking companies. Ring the World Peace Bell while you are in Cowra.
