Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great find for a long weekend stay. The perfect location within walking distance to the main street of town. All amenities were very clean and well maintained. The staff very friendly and helpful. This park is definitely worth the stay.

If you’re visiting Cowra, make sure you stay at Cowra Van Park. It may not have fancy facilities such as a pool, play area but makes up for it with the people who run it. They went out of their way to help when we were having issues with our van. The park is spotless, has a lovely atmosphere, camp kitchen is very well equipped, even stocked with plates, cutlery etc, just in case you have forgotten something and the wifi actually works. They have thought of everything. It’s as if they have listed what would they want when they’re away and have made sure it’s all there. It’s also not far from town. Do yourself a favour and stay there, but book as it does fill up quickly. And the resident cockatoo will put on a good show

this was a little gem, we loved the layout, the blocks were generous, and the facilities whilst a little old were well maintained and always clean. The staff were helpful and full of information. We loved our stay.

We arrived for our three night stay on the day they just reopened after being completely flooded. The park was so immaculately clean we could not even tell that they had been flooded. The facilities are great. BBQs and camp kitchen are well stocked, clean and very comfortable. Park is really well located and staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in our vans on return from the Central West (Warrabungles). We were so impressed with the work the owners did to clean the park after the floods. An amazing effort. The park is so beautiful, clean and well equipped. The amenities were 1st class and the camp kitchen perfect. One the friendliest parks we have visited Mitch and Stacey were a delight.

Two days after being flooded the park was immaculate, the management worked very hard to achieve such a high standard after being flooded. The amenities are excellent and the location is ideal in the centre of the CBD. 10 out of 10 from us.:)

Had a powered van site for multiple days. There are lovely flat sites with slabs with heaps of grass and a great overlook of the river. There are also more central sites in the park that are well grassed and nice. There is also some bitumen long sites for possible overnight stay hooked up stays. The ammenities were very clean and good condition. Is very close walking distance to pubs, restaurants and the main street for shopping. The camp kitchen is also well appointed and clean. It is a great park overall. There is a bit of chewed up ground in a few spots as it’s been so wet but by comparison to other van parks that have had a lot of rain its relatively minor. The only pitfall for me is the road noise from the nearby traffic on the elevated bridge over the river. There are spots that are very close to this, I suggest to try and get a site up the other end closer to the recreation reserve end. The traffic noise does die down in the evenings but there is a lot during the day. Be aware that music also travels from the Showgrounds if there is an event on.

Room Tip: Try to get a site down the recreation reserve end to be further from the bridge traffic noise.

Just an overnight here on our way through, but I was excellent. Clean, tidy and friendly and right by the river. Will absolutely be back on another trip. The park itself is quiet and right on the river. It is next to the main road so there is some truck noise overnight. Facilities are clean and recently upgraded. Hidden gem

Super clean, tidy & organised van park. Stayed in 2bedroom cabin. It was very clean & had everything we needed. Would rate highly compared to the many cabins & van parks we've stayed at. Thank you for a home away from home stay at your park Mitch & Stacey!
