My family and I stayed here on an impromptu night away. The owner was extremely helpful and polite and the rooms, while super dated and begging for renovations (old carpet, tile loose in bathroom), were comfortable and had everything you would need. A feature of our queen + single room that suited us well was the queen bed being in a separate room so that my partner and I could put the kids to bed and sit up in the lounge room. Well worth a look in if you are not fancy and are stopping at Corowa. Nice pool too!

Step back into the 70s with the decor and enjoy great comfort, space and quiet. Very comfortable suite with larger than usual motel fridge, plenty of cooking and dining utensils etc. A perfect motel for a couple travelling if one person wants to watch tv while one wants to sleep. Booked at last minute when Albury was full. Would stay there again. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been visiting Corowa for at least 20 years . We have always stayed at the Lonepine .In doing so we have got to know the owners Damien& Mila Hynes and find they look after us very well and always make us feel welcome. We like the way the rooms are situated ,with pleasant views of the barbecue area. The rooms are spacious with kitchen ,sitting room and what I especially like is the bedroom is separate . So makes everything a little cosier. Damien's and Mila 's. Care the motel and rooms cannot be faulted . They are well cared for and spotless. We always look forward to our next visit .....which we hope won't be to long away.

We booked a two bedroom suite for two nights while visiting family in Corowa. On arrival Damien, the owner, showed us to our rooms without fuss or bother. The two bedrooms were huge and the living area was completely "self-contained' and had it all ! It was a very pleasant surprise.
When our daughter joined us for the second night, she could not believe how good her room was nor the size of the large living area.

The Lone Pine is an older style motel but has been tastefully upgraded and offers the traveller all mod cons !

Room Tip: We only saw our suite. It was in a rear corner section and proved extremely private and quiet.

We stayed at the Lone Pine so we could visit family staying at the nearby caravan park. Corowa is a very popular holiday destination particularly at peak times, so it can get full quickly. The accommodation was very clean, offering ample facilities for self catering. Daily service ensured that the rooms were immaculately clean, the bedding and the towels are changed as required. Free wifi is provided along with the use of a small pool and BBQ area for residents. If you are basing yourself in Corowa to explore the nearby NSW/Victoria countryside and wineries then Lone Pine is a good base for couples and families.

a nice warm comfortable room, very clean offering plenty of facilities for self catering - the room was cleaned & left immaculate every day - the room also had a well equipped kitchenette - the beds were very comfortable & had clean sheets - the price charged for the room was very reasonable & the staff were always very friendly & helpful

Very close to the town and river Murray.
The environment is very quiet so that I can relax every time.
The pice also very reasonable compare to service and atmosphere.
I always use this motel once a year for gliding at Corowa.

Unfortunately we travelled to Corowa for a family funeral. We booked a two bedroom apartment and on arrival we were upgraded to a three bedroom at no extra charge. It was a pity that we visited the beautiful town just for an overnight stay. Spotlessly clean rooms and management were very obliging. The pool looked very inviting but it was a pity that time did not allow us the opportunity to make use of it. It is a small motel, off the main road and while we had the front apartment it was extremely quiet. Very good value for money and I would return to stay again if I am holidaying in the area again.

booked this room in the holiday break and day before arrival - lucky there was a room available.
the proprietor was friendly and helpful. had driven 900km from SA and was dog tired.
to my surprise our room had in fact two rooms - one a bedroom the other the kitchen, lounge area and this also had a bed. My daughter could sleep in one room and not be hounded by my snoring. kitchen had fridge, stove, microwave and plenty of accessories. TV was a good size.
probably my only gripe was the dinner party hosted by the proprietor at poolside which went to 12 midnight. as noted earlier was dog tired and the raucous laughter kept me awake. no matter, after midnight fell into fitful sleep. overall had a good impression of this place.

Damien and Mila are the perfect hosts in this small motel located in a quiet part of town. We have stayed there nine times now when we travel to the annual KVE swim-in. The rooms are large and comfortable and well maintained. We will continue to stay hear every year for our one week of relaxing and mixing with friends.
