Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The site was good, plenty of space and shade. The park although advertising that it has river frontage it is a good 150m walk through the trees and then there is no river entry. The location in relation to the town and wineries is perfect.
There was no evidence that cleaning of amenities and bbq facilities took place for the first 3 days and after the Victorian long week end the bins were overflowing for 3days as well. The hand railing into the pool has come off the pool wall and is dangerous to use. The staff we saw were very friendly.

Great spot very close to the river with lots of bushland. Cabin was clean and modern and good for our family stay. Plenty of things for the kids to do including 2 swimming pools. There is a games room for the kids but during our stay I did notice that more than half of the games were broken. Amenities were good, I do disagree with some of the other reviews about them not being up to standard, I have attached a few photos, they are pretty good.

The Rivergums park surprised me after reading some average reviews. It was far better than I expected and worthy of my recommendation to fellow travelers. My whole experience at Corawa was so enjoyable, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Cheers

Most of this park is permanent cabins i.e. usually owned and a yearly fee paid to use anytime, and caravan sites. There are only a handful of cabins for booking/hire.Hence a review referred to a shanty town look. Bought aTravel Auctions deal of 3 nights and we bought an additional night. The cabin photo used in the ad for this auction is the Deluxe cabin and the reality was very different. The cabin we were allocated (No 22) was small with only a very small decked area that didn't have enough room to sit out, hence no outdoor furniture nor did it have any shade. The cabin was tucked away around behind reception at the front of the park. The master bedroom double bed was disgraceful. We were basically sleeping on the coil springs that thankfully hadn't broken through the material. There was also a leg missing which meant it bowed on one side with any weight put on it.  It should have been relegated to the rubbish tip years ago.Other reviews mention holes in curtains and stains on couches which is accurate observations (see photos). We had booked a fourth night but were so tired after 3 nights of very little sleep, because of the bed, that we departed early and forfeited the cost. Didn't talk to management about it because we don't like to make a fuss, or confrontation.
Have contacted Travel Auctions about the use of potentially misleading photos in their ads but have yet to receive a reply.

Brilliant caravan park. Great facilities, generous sized sites. Toilet facilities were ripper! Really friendly and helpful service. They made our stay so easy and enjoyable!

Little extras were offered like sunscreen and mozzie spray available for use. Lovely clean bathroom. Shower curtains!! Hooks where you need them. Everything looked recently renovated. It was really quiet too...

To Phillip S owner of the Rivergum Holiday Park, in answer to your reply to millie.

As stated in our review we have stayed at the Rivergum several times and have always enjoy our stays.
Labour day weekend was a disappointment, we raised our issues with a member of you staff on Tuesday the 9th March mid afternoon, after we booked for 2022.
We were told we weren’t the only ones to complain, and that staff was in very very short supply.
It’s perhaps a little unreasonable to expect one person to clean cabins, amenity blocks and be on reception. I suggest the park requires some casual staff members that are prepared to work weekends and public holidays.
We realise with COVID restrictions it would have been a challenge for new managers,
but feel there are no excuses for the amenities not be cleaned every day.

My husband and I have been frequent visitors to rivergum holiday park over the last 5 years and have always been very impressed with the cleanliness of the park and park amenities.

However our most recent visit certainly did not meet such standards. The toilet blocks were absolutely filthy, there was no soap in the hand sanitiser dispensers in the male toilets for the whole 6 nights and the toilets hadn’t seemed to be cleaned at all.

This was quite disappointing given the current COVID pandemic and how quiet the park was. We would expect the amenities to be cleaned at least twice daily.

We have booked a family getaway in March with multiple family members and we would really hope that these standards are raised.

We are very disappointed with this review as well as you have not given the management team the courtesy of raising any concerns directly with them during the stay. Our amenities are cleaned at least twice daily and our staff have not received any complaints during the holiday period and do take pride in the Park's standards. Unfortunately, neither your recent stay nor the March booking is shown in our reservation records, accordingly please call us to discuss your concerns and booking.

We arrived on a cold, drizzling afternoon and our cabin was great and well appointed. As we were staying for four nights, and our breaks are to chill out, have a wine/scotch and a social smoke the fact that I had pre-booked for that type of cabin, my "damp" husband returned to reception to request a move to a cabin that had a deck and great coverage as we did not know if the rain was going to persist for our entire stay (it didn't) and we paid the extra happily to move so we set about packing what I had already unpacked, loaded the car and moved from 21 to 25 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in much improved weather but that is the risk you take travelling this time of year. The cabin, 2-bedroom had cook top, microwave, full fridge, TV, DVD player and a kitchen bench for meals, much the same as the original cabin. We would gladly return and know which cabin to request. Thanks to the friendly staff. Conditional consent to accept dogs. Set on a large acreage with plenty of walks and wildlife, river for fishing and water sports.

We had a 3 night standard cabin booked and were so looking forward to getting away after lockdown, but were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin. It was very dusty and grimy and found hairs in the bathroom sink and cutlery drawers. The curtains were full of spider webs also. The manager offered us another room which was also not very clean, the ceiling fan was covered in dirt and dust hanging from it and spider webs were also in the curtains. The park appeared to have good facilities but unfortunately we could not stay in those conditions. We found alternative accomodation and called the park the following day to voice our concerns, the manager eleisha accused my partner of being aggressive on the phone when talking about the conditions of the room, she offered to inspect the cabins herself and told us she would call back. We are still waiting for that call !!

Our 5th time staying here in a bush like setting. Walking through the wetlands is extremely peaceful and has great walking tracks with seating along the Murray river. Fire pits allowed but please obey the signs and do not take wood from the wetlands - you can bring your own or purchase it locally.Dogs welcome but please keep on the lead as per the park rules. Ammenities are clean. Great base for day trips.
