Location was great. Restaurants and beach right out the front. No busy roads out the front.
Room needed maintenance. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Fold out bed was so uncomfortable. Main bed mattress was lumpy. Didn’t sleep well at all. No fly screen on the window...More
Stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter. We found the front desk staff to be really helpful and friendly. Our room was modern, clean and had adequate kitchen facilities.
The beds were comfortable, the shower was good, both things which are pretty important to...More
The hotel in their advertisements actually sounded like a real find.
In our case we didn’t luck out with the view, we looked onto a brick wall, looked down onto some ordinary green shrubs, don’t recall being able to see anything other than an apartment...More

Stayed for 2 nights. The best part of this hotel is the location, right next to the beach. There are tons of eateries around, so plenty to explore. The beach itself is a great place to hangout, complimented by a beautiful garden that's adjacent to...More
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity
footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
Check in time at the Coogee Sands is 2pm. However they will happily store your luggage if you arrive at an earlier time. There is no free shuttle service to Coogee from Sydney Airport, nor is Coogee close to the Celebrity... More
Check in time at the Coogee Sands is 2pm. However they will happily store your luggage if you arrive at an earlier time. There is no free shuttle service to Coogee from Sydney Airport, nor is Coogee close to the Celebrity Cruise Line port. But Coogee itself is very well served by bus services, including buses direct to Circular Quay where the overseas terminal is located (journey is approximately 40 minutes). You might contact the Coogee Sands general manager, Tracy Whitelaw, who will be able to supply further information. Good luck, hope you get to stay at Coogee Sands because it's a great waterside destination.
