Great location, however apartment needed done cleaning done. Walls by the bed were dirty. Blinds that you had to touch each day was dirty. Window by my bed was broken and that made all the street noise come in. Bedrooms need to be fitted with better blinds as the street light light up your room making it hard to sleep. Couches had stains all over them. Bathroom shower tap needs fixing. I was recovering from surgery so it was so important for me to stay somewhere I could rest, recover and was clean and unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Definitely has potential.

Sarsha, we both agree that the location is stunning, with the beach right in front of our building. If the apartment did not meet your expectations – which is a self-contained unit – we could have offered additional daily services to aid in your recovery from surgery. We would have been more than happy to assist you in any way necessary during this time as we have staff onsite 24/7. In relation to the broken window, it was actually the seal on the lock window that was broken and would not have caused the filtering of noise to come through. However, it was promptly repaired. We are surprised to hear that you felt the apartment needed further cleaning as all apartments are thoroughly cleaned prior to each arrival.

Great location with views of the beach and right near downtown. The downside is the beds are a little stiff, the shower was dripping incessantly and the rooms don't feel well maintained (windows that don't close properly, dirty faucets, etc). We stayed here expecting to also work remotely, but the wifi was too slow and inconsistent to work productivity. Repeated calls to management didn't help - they basically told us to go get a mifi router. Zoom calls were particularly bad. We would come back if the wifi was improved.

We stayed at the facility over New Years for a period of 12 days in a 2 bedroom sea view apartment on the 8th floor. The location is superb and the views of the beach and ocean are simply fantastic! It’s probably one of the best locations in Coogee. However, the apartments and the overall facility is run down, the kitchen and bathrooms are very outdated and many items are out of order. The beds and mattresses in the bedrooms are of a very bad quality and not suited for young adults or visitors who appreciate a good nights sleep. The cleanliness of the apartment on the date of arrival was unacceptable and it took two days of ventilation and cleaning to clear the fowl smell. Would only stay there again if renovations are undertaken and other changes are made to the offering. In fact, would even consider a higher price pints if these are addressed adequately. Regardless of this review, our stay in Coogee otherwise was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed the beach, food offerings and the surroundings.

This place was absolutely horrendous. We entered the apartments and spent twenty minutes searching for our room, only to find out that it was tucked away in the corner of a car park. Our designated car space was blocked in. When we got inside the apartment was not too bad, however the floor, walls, and furniture are in need of a deep clean. The lift is terrifying, when it stops at your level, after a few seconds the lift will drop slightly which is very unsettling. One lift was broken and the other was hardly functioning. When we tried to get in contact with the reception there was never anyone available. They will not answer the phone either. One room had a shower with no shower head. The mattresses on the bed are extremely soft and uncomfortable. The rooms have a foul odour coming from the stairwell. This place relies solely on the good view which many rooms do not have access to. There was no fan in the bathroom so it steamed up extremely quickly. For 400+ a night I expected better.

Dear Ciara, the apartment you stayed in is unique within our building, some love it and in your case, you didn’t. Your apartment is the closest one with direct access to the beach with the most sensational views of the beach and comprises of wide windows overlooking the beach directly. Your comments re accessibility from the car park are incorrect as there are two access points to the apartment. We are sorry to hear you took so long to find the entrances as you were assisted by reception with directions and also it was written down for your convenience. Regarding other aspects of your comments, we do need to reiterate that every apartment has a ventilation fan in the bathroom, added to this, you do not need to use the lift to get to your apartment as this apartment is similar to a Terrace unit off the beach front. We are definitely contactable 24/7 and have added information in the apartment, at reception and in our digital compendium, which is for the comfort and ease of our guests to contact us at any time. In responding to your Room Tip - if you can find something else at Coogee Beach in a better location with more beach access for less than $400 per night, we would be surprised.

Filthy, run down, stinky, overpriced, and possibly the worst management ever!!!!!! The only possible redeeming feature this place has is location. We were given the wrong room, we paid for beachfront and instead they gave us Street front with a little sea view. Apartment reception blamed Agoda for falsely advertising and did nothing to help, was absolutely useless! We asked for management email which she refused to give us. She said she would forward our issues. Never heard back. It's definitely not worth the money spent, there was dirt everywhere, cobwebs, ripped carpets, lousy internet, smelly rooms, broken cupboards. The place is completely run down and is in desperate need of a huge renovation starting with management and staff!

We always appreciate constructive criticism feedback and are willing to acknowledge genuine concerns in our reviews. However, in this case, we feel you are surely exaggerating your opinion. Your review is filled with innuendos. We expect our guests to always be respectful of our staff as they are continuously helpful if shown some courtesy. We will not tolerate abusive treatment towards our staff; therefore this presents us with a challenge to respond. The building is in a prime location in Coogee and it is important to note that you selected an apartment with a predominately street view, which is lively and has views of the park and the activities of Coogee Beach. You did not book or pay for a beach view, which seems to have led to your disappointment. This, therefore, does not reflect the performance of our management and there has been an incorrect booking on your part. Our high occupancy rates and numerous returning guests speak highly, about our quality of service and accommodation constantly. We understand you are angry, but we must clarify that abusive behaviour towards our staff is not tolerated nor acceptable. This approach can inevitably impacted the nature of the response you received. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for guests who show respect towards our staff. Criticising every aspect of our management and the apartment under these circumstances is unfair and unjust.

Coogee beach is beautiful however the Coogee view Apartment was old, outdated & expensive - not worth the money spent. Stayed for 3 weeks which multiple appliances were broken and reported. Wifi did not work for duration of stay. Rude staff - Would not recommend.

Great location but I paid for a penthouse and got a motel room on the Hume Hwy, staff not so helpful as it was a public holiday when we checked in and reception was closed (as this is a busy time wouldn't you have at least one staff member working, very strange) Considering the $650 p/n we paid for the room it was dusty and run down. Would stay across the road at the Crown next time. Fans and vents where dusty, other people's belongings left under the bed. Beds where so uncomfortable and sagged so the blood was running to my head from being out of level, most uncomfortable sleep I've had in a long time ended up sleeping on the couch. Bathroom tiles run down and yellow in color, filthy stained shower curtains. Vanity units in bathroom were swollen and deteriorated. Blinds in the living room and bedrooms didn't operate and could not be closed. Toilet brushes rusty and old. Cracks in the walls near balcony sliding doors. Loose drain cover on the balcony tiling. Weeds growing out of balcony tiling. And as we had my young son had accidentally left his drink bottle and favourite stuffed toy behind in the room, I emailed the office and asked if we could get them back, they replied with nothing was found. No wonder your cleaners don't clean the rooms!! Poor service at best.

The room was pretty nice. The AC was horrible, hardly works and only blows out warm air no matter what you set the thermostat to. Plus an added bonus it shuts off every 4 hours and needs to be turned back on manually. If you enjoy being hot and uncomfortable then this is the place for you!

Good Location. The booking experience and the response from the onsite managers was not good they just blamed Agoda. Then Agoda blamed them! Is that a scam? The onsite manager had no remorse so thinking they probably do the same thing every other day! We booked and paid for a 3 bedroom sea view apartment 6 months in advance through Agoda. Cest La Vie. we are still trying to retrieve the $1500.00 we were over charged for the sea view apartment!

Agoda are a third party booking agent and we – The Coogee View are the onsite managers and owners. We have been doing business with Agoda for many years very successfully, yet in a short moment of time their description of our apartments may not have been perfect or one hundred percent clear. But on all corresponding booking confirmation from us, the owners, it is very clear what you get when you stay with us. Your booking confirmation was for a street predominant side of the building, with some park views which is lively, active with lots of people mingling about. We take offense to the use of the word – Scammers, as you have misread your booking confirmation from us. On arriving at the one bedroom apartment there was a strong cooking smell. We opened all the doors and windows thinking this would fix the problem. The next day when we returned to the apartment the smell was very strong and quite nauseating. When I spoke to the lady at reception she told me that it was probably the restaurant underneath our apartment and I agreed. She said she would get the building management to check the vents. This did not happen while we were there.
Although the apartment was big and spacious we thought that it was in need of some maintenance. Very disappointing.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the restaurant odour below. This is not part of our facility and we addressed this issue promptly, it did take some time for the cooking smell to dissipate. We have since resolved this matter with the restaurant. Our apartments are spacious in size which allows our guest to relax and take in the breathtaking views. While our maintenance is ongoing, we find it disappointing that your rating has been so harsh, as we offer an unprecedented view that is only offered in Coogee Beach at our establishment.

Yes, what Mandy said above, but be warned, our King Size bed was not 2 singles strapped together with a thick mattress topper as is usual, but was a king size base with 2 single mattress and a very thin mattress protector so that the mattresses separated, and you could feel the side bindings of the individual mattresses . I would check on arrival and ask them to fix it if you can.
There are more places to choose from in the Coogee area.
