Stayed 6 nights in a room that had stale smoke smell. I believe all the rooms have balconies and previous guests obviously smoke outside with the door open...anyway, reception staff were friendly. The room had a few things broken and the shower was over the bath and very low for tall people. We would stay again if we needed to...

Felt like we stepped back in time, the old school style of this place makes it relaxing. Trees an birds eating out of your hand is something hard to find in a city precinct, walking distance to shopping an transport we loved it

I was there last month in an explorer room. room was very well appointed with safe, hairdry, tea and coffee, fridge and microwave. as well as being airconditon there was ceiling fan. Love the outdoor balcony and the homely feel of the hotel. also the location was great close to train city and shops.

This charming little hotel is in a quiet leafy street only a few minutes walk from the bustling malls and restaurants of Chatswood. We were delighted to find that our room had its own little balcony overlooking a leafy school playing field, and that a breakfast of croissants, cereal and juice was provided (unadvertised) in the room's fridge. (Two bottles...

Clean and tidy, certainly well priced. If you are used to staying in business hotels this will be a surprise, for me a pleasant one. Good wifi. Not all rooms have air conditioning, some have balconies, all have fans and heaters. Good value for money.

Charrington is a great hotel to stay in for people traveling in smaller numbers. Located a short walk away from the Chatswood Interchange, it allows for smooth, hassle-free travel around the Sydney region, which was very convenient considering it's price. The room was great, staff were very nice, and the hotel looks amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who...

Short walk into central Chatswood off the main road next to the school. Cheap rates are somewhat reflected in the rooms which are still good enough to do the job. Friendly and very helpful staff made me feel welcome. Car parking can be an issue during weekdays. Slept great.
