Having travelled from WA to purchase a new caravan we were initially welcomed by a friendly staff member who ensured our night stay in a cabin was most comfortable, despite a last minute arrival date change. On our return with our new caravan we had to again change our arrival date. Staff were most understanding and accomodated yet another change. Upon...

This park is very easy to get to when towing a caravan. Unfortunately, the sites were very muddy when we arrived, owing to the weather and despite all having concrete slabs, only a couple have slabs which connect to the roadway. A shallow ditch full of mud and water, together with a large bush at the back of the site,...

A smaller park but clean, tidy and Mary in the Office is delightful and helpful. Very handy park to use when needing to be closer to Melbourne city for various reasons. Cabins available also. Not the usual Big 4 park with play equipment, pool etc. this is smaller and without those amenities. Toilets/showers are quite adequate but not modern like...

Reasonably well located park with public transport easily accessible near front gate. Caravan sites were well presented with slabs. Ablution block was kept clean and dump point was in handy vicinity. Overall quiet with road noise hardly noticeable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would go there again.

The cabins at BIG4 Dandenong Tourist Park were beautifully presented, clean and quite new. We spent most of our time touring the area but the time spent in the cabin was pleasurable, quiet, and in a location out of busy areas but close to attractions.

We booked this park as it was closest to the Spirit of Tasmania. The staff were very informative and friendly. We rang them when we were down in the Mornington Pennisular afrer a dreadful storm warning came through on the news. We asked if they could bring our awning in and they did, many thanks as we were off on...

The camp kitchens were good. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities with the personal touch in the signage. Close to Bus + Rail transport to the city. Not far to shopping. A nice little park and the cabins looked very accommodating. Gardens and lawns well maintained.

Great staff, the facilities are very clean and showers are very good, it's not a big park, it is in an industrial area but no noise after dark, they have gas refills there as well so no need for expensive swap and go

“Can get busier than you'd perhaps expect. Book ahead as it is a small park with mainly cabins.”

“The Tourist has a variety of accommodation available. We chose to stay in one of the onsite cabins which was totally convenient for our needs. Although it is located 'out of town', it has adequate public transport connections to assist you access shopping centres, etc... We noted there is a restaurant next-door open for breakfast and lunch which we will visit next time.”
