A very small park. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.
The older style, clean bathrooms had a retro touch with painted dresser, ornate mirrors and bathmats to use at your convenience. The camp kitchen was a little retro, stocked with cooking utensils, pans etc and fire to keep warm on the cold evenings.
Powered site - $30. Great value. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot rate this place high enough. A must stay for value, immaculately cared for amenities and friendliness.
Owners Fred and Andrea have the place spotless and the rates are the cheapest in Queenstown (check out the onsite caravan - unbelievable value for money).
This was more than a place to stay. The genuine friendliness of the owners and the cozy size of the park gave it a home away from home feel. While I was staying there I was in a rafting accident and the owners could not have been more caring. Provision of extra pillows and morning welfare check in from Andrea was surpassed by text message fron Fred 5 days after I had checked out to see how I was! Fantastic customer service. Fred and Andrea have definitely put a stamp on this place and I will definitely return. Thanks guys for your kindness

Clean, pretty, hospitable camp ground with very welcoming staff. We stayed in a powered site, which was spacious, easy to enter and exit, and was filled in with pebbles to help keep area clean and tidy. Absolutely delighted by the bathrooms - clean and very well maintained, with very pretty decor. Camp kitchen well furnished, stocked with all kinds of kitchen utensils as well as books and games - even has a fireplace.
Gorgeous setting and very close to the heart of Queenstown.
Couldn’t recommend enough! ☺️

This is a delightful caravan park so well managed by the owners. Nothing is too much trouble - as we walked past the office we were asked if we wanted a lift into town! Unbelievable! The homely kitchen area was clean and welcoming - games, books, log fire and of course heaps of cooking options & cleaning materials. The outside BBQ area likewise was great. The highlight possibly the bathrooms - even providing bath mats! This was a great find.

This park is in a great location. Very accessible to the railway, rafting, biking, and to the Main Street (not walkable but you could ride). The staff were friendly and welcoming. The amenities are very clean and contain some lovely personal touches such as pictures, vases of flowers, scented hand soaps, pegs and baskets for laundry, and best of all, cloth floor mats for the showers. My only complaint is that the park was very busy, and seemed full of keen, early risers (before 7am) getting themselves ready for departure and warming their cars up for a while. The road and campsite is completely gravel so walking and driving is noisy. A small complaint. It got us up for the day!

This park is under new management and these folks really care about their park. The place is clean and well organized. The amenities block was clean and well stocked with just about all the tools needed to prepare a meal and eat it. The showers were clean and great shower heads. The owners were very helpful and friendly helping us get set up in an unpowered tent site and giving us tips on what to do and see locally.

This is a great place to stay. The owners have added a thoughtful and welcoming touch to each of the facilites, which inlcude the toilets as well as inside and outside comunal areas. Fred and Andrea are friendly and helpful at all times. Our spacious site was easy to enter and exit. We could recommend this park to anyone travelling on the west coast of Tas.

But not fantastic. You can't get away from the fact the facilities are old and need an update , although they were clean. Whilst providing bathmats is a nice touch, the showers desperately need updating, I'm guessing they are 1960's or 1970's vintage. The outdoor bbq (gas) was dirty and rusty and the half the burners didnt work. The "vintage" furniture in the kitchen area was dirty and smelt of many unwashed bodies sitting on it.
The price was in keeping with other parks we stayed at.

We had the most amazing tour on the Gordon River on the world heritage cruise boat. The captain and staff were amazing and the luncheon was excellent. The captain was very good commentating on the history during our cruise up the river. We give them 10 out of 10, would recommend this tour.
