My husband and I stayed a few nights here at the end of a week in the area. Under the new friendly management, more improvements are underway. We had a drive-through site and it was a really relaxing time for us. Will definitely come back.

Ok so I was a little concerned about booking here due to previous reviews :( I’m not sure what previous reviewers wanted from a roadside travel stop over but for our purposes this little place ticked all the boxes. I don’t usually review but I wanted to post a post photos and review what this place is currently like! The manager is a retired farmer, very helpful - we arrived at 7.30pm and he waited for us, he has country hospitality and was very warm and helpful. The sites are level (important as we have a Mercedes camper we can’t adjust) and well kept (no overgrown weeds) The shower block is extremely well maintained - cute bifold doors with rustic locks, shower mats supplied and the tiles and grout are pristine. The water was hot and great pressure. What more do you want?? The camp kitchen is basic but again clean and well maintained. Sure the Higgs creates some noise so if that’s a problem- get some ear plugs. If this is your destination holiday with kids then maybe consider a Big 4 with a pillow playground but as a stopover in the way across the Nullarbor this spot is near perfect.

We stayed in cabin 6 and also the same thing that smacked me in the face when I walked through the door was the offensive smell. The chair was filthy and stained should not have been in the room for paying guests to sit on. Dried milk in bottom of fridge. Trucks thundering past all night as it's on the main highway. And yes it was our choice to stay there and not drive on to the next town but when you pay nearly $100 for a service you expect to receive a certain standard and clearly we didn't get it. So travellers if there is nothing else available in town as in our case keep going to port agusta.

Windows a but dusty on the outside , but its to be expected . Will be staying here again And would recomend it. Has a HUGE walking track , great for dogs but i used it to walk. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. BBQ area was a great little set up. Even had a fire pit going some nights. Well done guys. Our company will be back when around the district.

Situated on Highway One, this is a convenient caravan park to lay over, en route to elsewhere and beyond. Services and amenities are basic and clean but no frills in the deal. We enjoyed a brisk night with low, low temps but awoke to a stunning sunrise.
