Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arrived to book in, felt the receptionist was very blunt money money up front so went back out to the car to obtain my debit card., then entered the cabin, bedside light did not work, had to climb up on a chair to plug in the TV and Antenna , I am almost 70! other electrical appliances did not work. You pay a nightly fee, but they do not tend to your cabin on a daily basis. Have stayed there many times over the last 25 yrs, either there has been a change of management or whatever, doubt I will be back again. Hence the poor rating.

Very well equipped stylish cabins. We thought they were a little expensive but they are much nicer than your average cabins at other caravan parks. Plenty of cutlery and crockery lovely soft towels good shower and the air conditioning works really well which needed as it was 39deg when we arrived!

We stayed in a 2bedroom cabin and it was lovely! Rooms were clean with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities! Shower was fantastic but tiles were slippery when wet highlighting a potential hazard! Overall a great stay and we will return.

Stayed for one night passing through. Staff were friendly and professional. Cabin was very clean and well equipped, just what was needed after a long day on the road with young kids. Separate bathroom and toilet was a good thing with gas hot water. Will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed in the park for 5 nights and found the cabin clean and comfortable. However it is what it is. For a cabin park, I can understand those it give it four stars and those who give it 2 or 3 stars. It all depends on what you compare it against. Our cabin was clean and well fitted out. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathrooms were also clean and well kept. Carpets in some places were clean but stained and there were marks on walls, that were all okay but just waiting to be painted over at the next paint. Airconditioning was very effective. Look at the many pictures published and you decide on its star rating relevant to what you are used to staying in and your preferences. For those regular to cabin parks, I would suggest a 3 1/2 to 4 rating but certainly not one of the ultra modern hotel style rooms in a cabin. For those used to top line hotel rooms, then this is probably not for you. However, if looking for clean and comfortable, middle of the road style cabin with a caravan park style camp bbq kitchen area, then this could well be your option.

We were thrilled to come across this gem. Clean, spacious, 2 tvs, 2 split systems. Cooking. Full fridge. Then we discovered the bbq area at the swim beach just behind. Its a combination of play park, walk tracks and skate board area for the teenagers. A park for everyone. Right now I am sipping cappuccino in Baker Bears across the street. The cakes and baked goods are really good and worth stopping for.

I got spa cabin overnight for $160 to relax with my partner. The bloke at the counter was a bit rude. Overall the cabin was cleanish, but the spa was not. Turn the Jets on for it to spit out someone else's hair. Which was a massive turn off from the whole cabin I will not come back it was not worth the $160 for a dirty spa. I wont even start on the over priced wheatbixs and toast for $12.

Decided to try Port Pirie as we are sick of paying good money for poor accommodation & service at Port Augusta when traveling across the state. The Bentley cabin park was recommended to us by friends and after a long day of traveling it was a wonderful surprise, a beautiful large 3br cabin for our large family. So many cabins throughout the area, yet little noise. Lovely solid furniture and even electric blankets for those who like them. Plenty of space to relax and a great shower.

Bentleys Cabin Park is in a great location. Cabin was a one bedroom, very roomy, very clean and all the facilities you need. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and full size fridge. Neville the host was very helpful and a good bloke. Highly recommended and will definitely stay next time I'm in town
