I only stayed for one night. The room was close to reception which I liked because of the amount of gear I had with me. The room was clean and spacious. And the view over the pool looking out to the coral sea was magic.
Hotel a short walk to restaurants and cafes.

Located on the hills, one bedroom apartment, couches needs updating looks worn out , curtain dangling due to lack of hooks. No aircon on the bed room , good shower.
Where in combIne hallway, laundry on the corner is smelly. One bonus it has good view.

We (two couples) booked a two bedroom apartment but on arrival found that the main bedroom is also the lounge room. This made it difficult, as there was no privacy and not much space. The kitchenette has basic facilities. Although the apartment was clean, there is definitely a need for maintenance. The balcony rails require a paint, the apartment looks shabby and the pond downstairs had stagnant water. The pool area could do with a clean up. The apartments are located out of the main Airlie Beach area and it's quite a walk up the hill. There are no lifts in the complex. On the plus side the Manager's are friendly and efficient.

This has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. They have trip adviser approved from 2013/15 on the door Says it all. I called Scott the owner before we set off to confirm the room that had been locked in for us. My son is 6 foot tall so needed 2 room 2 big bed he knew that and had previously told me it was locked into my booking with a note DO NOT MOVE - his words. On the phone he said there was an issue as he hadn’t seen the note until that morning but all was fine. I told him we would arrive after 5 so he left a key in the drop box. We arrive to find the 2nd bedroom had 2 rock hard kids beds even me at 5 foot 7 had feet hanging off the end. No way could my son fit in that. And it was so small my son called it a prison cell. Dark no real light. I called Scott who said they were full so basically said you have a nice view suck it up. My son then had a work call so he tried to log on no password. I called Scott again, he did not pick up, did not reply to text. This was now impossible. I knocked on 3 doors to ask about a password, no book of information anywhere in the unit. Also no tv as stated as included in the unit. No tv anywhere! We had 2 towels, No toiletries. It said bath and combined shower no bath, no hairdryer and all beds rock hard. My son had to find another hotel costed $300+ extra. I took photos of the disgraceful state of that place. On checkout Scott was rude aggressive and walked away from me saying my son would not fit a Queen bed at 6 ft! Mold & dirty

We arrived at about 2.00 pm but there was no one on reception but there was a sign with a contact number but for some reason I could not get my phone to work so we were unable to contact them.

However we popped next door to the Sebel and the reception there phoned the number for us and the lovely Crystal came straight out to us, very apologetic but it was not her fault. We checked in and she then proceeded to carry one of our cases with ease up to the top floor which must have been tough as we were travelling for a month!

The apartment was clean with very basic cooking facilities but the view from our balcony was amazing and my request for a high floor was duly provided. Parking is plentiful with spaces under cover.

The apartments are a little bit out of the way from the main town but if you walk along the marina rather than the main road it is flat. There is a bit if a steep hill up to the apartments and there is no lift so be aware if you have mobility issues.

All in all we had a great time and can highly recommend these apartments.

On a positive note the location is good for the boats and ferries. Not too far away from town to reach restaurants and shops.

But unfortunately we were really disappointed with the standard of accommodation. The reception is a tiny office in the garage space managed part time. The lady who was in occasional attendance was as helpful as she could be. There is an incredible steep driveway to access the building and there are no lifts - so you are carrying luggage up stairs - no help on offer.

The room was tired and in need of attention especially the bathroom which was basic. There were small notes left stuck on walls in the room advising of additional charges if rubbish was not removed on check out or if dirty dishes were left. The atmosphere was not very welcoming and as we had to vacate the room by 10am and our departure was at 1pm there was no facility to store our luggage other than squeeze them under a desk in the tiny office space in the unattended insecure garage.

I can not recommend the apartments because the standard should have been a lot better for the prices charged. We have stayed in much better places for the price paid.

Disappointing

We stayed in this hotel with a large group of friends for Australia Day and were so impressed. The particular apartment room we were staying in was very spacious with a great kitchen and iPhone speaker which was a bonus!

The manager Scott was charming and very friendly. The balcony had a great view of the docks and it was a short 15 minute walk into town. Would absolutely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my 9 night stay here recently.
The balcony provided beautiful views, the self-contained apartment was clean and tidy and had everything I needed, including a washing machine and dryer.
It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to restaurants, the beach and shops. The bus is very close if you prefer not to walk.
There is a steep hill to get up the driveway if you are without transport, but it was just part of my daily exercise routine. Not at all an issue for me but some may struggle if they don't have a car.

We booked a room in Airlie beach for the week. We had an amazing time. And for the money we paid for the room seen as it was in the school
Holidays I could not have been happier. The rooms were lovely and clean with an amazing view. There was a pool and hot tub available for use. Will definitely be returning here. Thank you Scott and team for a wonderful holiday.
