Airlie Beach Motor Lodge is located in a quiet, central location only 200 metres from the Airlie Beach Lagoon, beach, shops and restaurants. Accommodation options include motel rooms, deluxe studio apartments and two bedroom townhouses, all set in a resort style complex. The units all have a private balcony or patio with some seaviews overlooking Airlie Bay. There is a gazebo beside the saltwater pool and an outdoor entertainment area with a billiard table and BBQ. Most units are self-contained and all units have tea/toast making facilities and microwaves. Most rooms have access to free in-house movies upon request and some rooms have their own DVD and CD players. Linen and bath towels are provided and beach towels may be hired. There are two laundries with washing machines and driers. All units are non-smoking and are maintained to a high standard by our management team. Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Island cruise and tour bookings can be booked by friendly, helpful staff who will advise the best cruise available to make your holiday memorable. Airlie Beach Motor Lodge is pet friendly.

Walked in to make a booking around 11pm and Lyn who checked us in was super kind and understanding even though we came without a booking and it was super late. The other staff member Lisa has organised a tour booking next morning and in 5 minutes everything was sorted and someone was there to pick us up.
Amazing customer service from both lovely ladies.
Apartment itself was full contained and it was very clean and tidy. View from the porch was stunning! I wish we could stay longer.

Situated about 5 mins away from the shops, bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and restful..
The staff were very helpful and answered any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend to all generations but do be aware that there is a short uphill walk back to the motel.

Recently stayed and wanted to share the good and the bad..
Location is great and a couple of minutes walk from the top end of the main strip, studio is clean with Staff being helpful.
On arriving everything looked old, the pool is cracked and work along with the hammocks around it (not like in the photo we saw prior) furnishings all look massively outdated and was a shock to us from our previous accomodation.
Its pet friendly so experienced some barking with 1 dog chasing my 6 year old and left her screaming.
There was no spa or sauna as advertised and seems spa and sauna didnt exist that were advertised, I would look around at other properties that are much more new, even to say the shared accomodation next door was impecable and we wish we had booked there.
Garuma Cafe around the corner is definately worth eating at for quality, price and speed of service!!

In a good location but overall we found this place to be poor. Rooms are ok (with very, very small tv’s). Duty receptionist had left early and told us the key to our room was in a safety box. It wasn’t. She had forgotten to leave it. We then had to wait for her to return to give us the key. Advertised reception hours are nonsense. Rooms are basic but ok. They are, though, expensive for what you get. Internet barely functioned.

I only came up for the night but didn’t expect personalised service and perfect rooms. The room was clean, just the right size, and had everything my partner and I needed. I’m not usually the type to write reviews but this place deserved it. Thanks to the managers for an lovely stay!

GREAT location! Only a 5 min walk from the beach. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Rooms are lovely, clean, tidy and comfortable (aircon and fans). Staff members are very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend!! Can’t wait to be back! :)

Clean and comfortable. This was a fantastic spot for us and our little dog. So close to everything with good facilities, as well and wonderful friendly staff.
