A great place to stay. Yes it is shabby but it is 30 m from central Airlie, across the road from Woolworths and is easily accessible. The new management team are awesome and making a difference. It also has a really nice little roof top terrace over the office which gives great views and is the ideal place to watch the sunset.

Well 2 good things Location and Good Air Conditioner Great But - This place looked nothing like the photos in the ad . It is in bad shape and I guess they are renovating some rooms , probably wouldn’t have stayed but it is in great location . It’s too bad because it could be a really nice place and charge more - there was literally graffiti in room and on ceiling

Ok was a great locoation , right in the heart of Airlie but that’s about all. Couch was ripped, Lino flooring holes everywhere , roof destroyed, glad there was a can of spray under sink for the cockies, tap would turn off, iron mark on carpet, door would close properly, pool was slimy and had green clumps.

The important thing if you haven’t been to Airlie before is understanding the geography. Many wonderful units with great views but unless you’re fit you will struggle to walk 1km vertically up the street to reach your hotel & once you’re there it’s a mission to simply go out for a stroll & buy some sushi. This hotel is different. Slightly elevated & less than 80m to Main Street. Parallel to Main Street & tucked in behind. Walk to pool, magnums, woolies & all shops on main drag. Amenities are fairly basic but again, you’re not in Airlie to sit in your room. I have stayed here 3 or 4 times over the last 2-3yrs & keep coming back for the convenience.

The room was full of mould, walls, ceiling, window ledges. The cornice in the lounge was missing leaving a large hole at both ends of the ceiling above the tv. The bedroom light and fan were broken and there were tiny insects everywhere plus the shower dripped all night. I was too afraid to put the doona on the bed because it had stains on it and was filthy. My younger daughter had terrible asthma all night due to the mould and my elder daughter has an injury to her forehead after walking straight into the staircase landing after putting rubbish in the bin. I doubt those staircases are up to code !! I would never recommend to stay here. The ONLY positive was the Cockatoos who popped in for some snacks :)
