Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is just off the main esplanade so you can get away from the street activity and noise. Nice and spotlessly clean, the apartment has all you need. Washing machine, dryer, aircon and Netflix. The only thing missing was an expresso machine. Will defiantly be back.

Stayed here for one week. Location is perfect. Down a side street 200 metres from the beach. Mini supermarket less than 100 metres away. Very quiet, unlike the busy beachfront establishments. Lovely heated pool in a lush environment. Apartments are discreetly designed to have a private balcony table and chairs. The buildings are 30 years old and need some TLC. We had apartment 208 which has recently been sold, so hopefully basic renovations will be forthcoming. The front door squeaks like entering a dungeon. Oil on the hinges will fix that. The rollers on the sliding doors to the balcony need rollers replaced…they are difficult to open. A simple fix. The bathroom door is swelling at the base. Looks unsightly, but works fine. Simple things would make the apartment so much nicer. Everything else works fine…a home away from home. Every thing is there, just bring your toothbrush. TV A/C, ceiling fans, iron, medium sized fridge The setting is beautiful. Secure underground parking is also a bonus. Communication with management is another major problem. If the office is unattended…which is often, there is no way to contact anyone, only an emergency number. If you arrive at a time around 2pm when the office is unattended, the notice board may have your apartment key in a brown envelope attached. This should be communicated by email….which was promised to me…. I am still waiting!!! Fortunately a passing guest showed me the ‘ropes’. Aside from the above dramas…. love the place!!

Great position for the beach, resturants or just relaxing on the balcony or in the pool. It was plenty big enough and had washer, drier, and all the kitchen utensils you need. It was very clean and yard was clean and tidy with a bbque area.

Nice tidy, Picturesque place. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower, laundry and kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to all the facility. Very pleasant place for a wonderful holiday.

The location was perfect, but that is where the pros stop. I rarely give a slamming review but this accommodation deserves it. The apartment was filthy 🤧... My feet were black within minutes of walking on the tiles. The mould and dust was disgusting. Enough said, check out the photos 📸

The position is great. Short walk to beachfront, shops & restaurants. The manager (Wayne) was helpful and his local knowledge & advice was most useful. Small boutique type complex which offered good value for the price. The pool was in a lovely garden setting which included a practical BBQ area if you wanted that option. The kitchen was well-equiped & practical as were the apartment's laundry facilities.
Very much looking forward to staying there again. Palm Cove is not just a beautiful place but is also an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of Far North Queensland.

With a planned week stay in far north Queensland the question of accommodation needed to be made and having decided to stay outside of Cairns city, I chose Palm Cove as the base for my stay.
Whilst at Palm Cove my accommodation was to be Palm Cove Tropic Apartments. The booking procedure was very straight forward with no angst. Any questions I had were addressed in a prompt manner via email.
On arrival I found the one bedroom apartment to be very well presented and clean; located on the second floor and overlooked – through palm fronds - a tantalising pool. The kitchen had adequate cutlery and plates, etc. There was both a washing machine and clothes dryer. The TV was of a good size with free to air and Foxtel. The bed was very comfortable. And there was also air conditioning.
Vehicular parking was underground.
When booking, I was aware that the location of Palm Cove Tropic Apartments wasn't located along the main esplanade; this I found to be bliss as the complex wasn't surrounded by other places of accommodation ... Read, it was extremely quiet.
There were many and varied eateries within walking distance of Palm Cove Tropic Apartments. Alternatively you could drive 5 minutes south along the highway to a very handy Coles supermarket to stock up on items for self-catering.
I found Palm Cove to be a tasteful tourist ‘village’ located central to many other tourist spots.
My week at Palm Cove Tropic Apartments was very enjoyable and I would not hesitate in recommending it as the place to stay.

The pool's temperature is fantastic there are probably only two other resorts in Palm cove that have heated pools. However it is unfortunately surrounded by Palm trees & other tropical trees and these dense surrounds hardly let any sunshine on the pool. The sun lounge area also very shaded which unfortunately is not suitable for people who like to catch a few Rays. The pool always had a lot of leaves in it due to the many trees. The fruit bats have a party there nightly & if you want to have an early morning dip you swim amongst these leaves and other debris. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was comfortable but very dark Wayne the manager was very helpful & hospitable its a shame he can't trim the trees. Don't know what time that photo on the website was taken maybe in summertime & many years ago as the trees Have grown heaps.

Would recommend Palm Cove tropic apartments to any who are looking for a place to stay in Palm Cove. Whilst our room was a little dated it was still OK for a relaxing self catered holiday. We had a couple of issues needing to be addressed and management was OK in dealing with these. The beach is only a 2 minute walk however the on site pool provides a more than acceptable alternative. If you don't have a car the bus to Cairns is a 1 minute walk away. The large array of Palm Cove eateries are also close by with the tavern almost across the road. Price wise this resort appears to be fantastic value when compared with many of the others in Palm Cove. Our stay was a little inconvenienced by the update to the pool deck and surrounds but from appearances these updates will only improve this resort.

We found this place by luck a week out from arriving in Palm Cove during the School holidays. It was so easy to book, the manager (Wayne) was very accommodating. We arrived after reception closing, checkin was simple and the lights/aircon were on in the apartment (well received considering the humidity).
The apartment itself was well appointed and quite large. The kitchen was roomy with everything there to be self-catered. The king size bed was quite comfy. There's air-con in the bedroom and also lounge/dining area.
The complex was well maintained and the pool area very tropical and nicely shaded by gums and palm trees. It was a 2min walk to the beach/start of the main strip. Great location away from the hustle/noise of the mains strip but so close!
Overall, we have already starting planning our next trip back to stay at Palm Cove and we will definitely be staying at Palm Cove Tropic Apartments.
