We spent 9 days in Palm Cove at the Oasis. Agreed this place is in a great location, but the apartments themselves, (assuming they are all alike), could do with a good renovation. The pool area was good, except that they chose our week there to renovate the decking that surrounds the pool. Had we known in advance, we would have chosen another place to stay to avoid the noice of electric saws, hammering and loud music that tradies love! There is a tennis court, but it was completely covered with leaves so not really available during our stay. In our apartment, the main dining table, (made of glass), had a huge chip in it, so we were a little nervous using it. The whole apartment smelt very musty, so we tried to leave doors and windows open most of the time - our bedroom screen sliding door didn’t shut properly so that was a bit problematic….unwanted sand flies, mosquitoes and a cute gecko managed to enter The master ensuite must have had a water problem as the cupboards were swollen and quite misshapen, not exactly 4 star quality. This, combined with a lounge room lamp with the lining torn from the shade, tears in the fabric of the lounge suite and curtains that were obviously past their use by date gave me the feeling that the apartment owner didn’t want to invest in the property, but still expected to obtain high prices for its rental. There is plenty of competition in the accommodation market, so we will probably look elsewhere next visit. Although the correspondence left in our apartment stated that we would receive a change of linen and towels half way through our stay, that didn’t happen - assume it is due to a lack of staff.…
Wonderful family resort, very clean, terrific pool next to the rainforest, very accommodating management, large apartments with everything you would have at home. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back. Thank you guys !
We stayed in a 3 bed apartment for over a week and had a wonderful time with our 2 kids who were 6 and 8. The space was great, enough room for our 2 boys. The facilities were excellent as were the hosts. It's a short walk to whatever you need even with kids complaining! The pool especially is great with a kids pool, heaps of shade and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We can't wait to come back!
A 4 night stay with the family in Palm Cove was a welcome break. The apartment was clean and well appointed, gardens were amazing and the pool area had a communal BBQ. Short trot to the beach was super convenient. A+
My wife and my daughter’s family (with an active 2 year old boy) stayed for 8 nights in an outstanding 3 bedroom apartment. It was clearly of 5 star standard with a clean modern kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of living area and a large balcony. It was peacefully nestled in tropical gardens and the only noise we could hear at night was the waves breaking on a beach a few hundred metres away. Every room had its own airconditioner and ceiling fan, so it was very comfortable when we were inside. Outside there is a large pool and spa (jacuzzi) and plenty of space to bbq our meals beside the pool. The resort also has a north south tennis court, although we did not use it. The managers, Adrian and Almira, were most welcoming and passionate about ensuring our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this resort to families or couples.…
My partner and I recently stayed here and it was perfect! 100% recommend it. We had a lovely room, super clean and so much space! There’s a beautiful pool and even a tennis court. Beach is only a 5 min walk, so it was super convenient. The owners are really kind and helpful which made our stay easy and relaxing !!

Wonderful stay, beautiful property, large spacious apartments, resort pool beside the rainforest, fantastic hospitality by managers, close to restaurants, five minutes walk to beach. Very safe and family orientated. Baby sitting service available.
Great place to stay, family friendly, kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and tennis court... Rooms were large, clean & modern with full cooking facilities... Managers were very accommodating and welcoming... Only 5 min walk to the beach & cafes, short drive to supermarket for essentials... We were able to book all our day trips direct through the reception which made the organising of our days super easy... Again great stay, thanks guys...
On the 12th February I made a booking with Booking.com for Oasis Resort Palm Cove and requested a late check in for 8pm. I Received a confirmation email confirming the late check in was approved and advised to just go to reception on arrival and pick up instructions and keys to our unit. We were provided a contact mobile phone number for Adrian in case there were any problems on arrival. We arrived at Oasis Resort at 8:20pm, and went to the reception and there was a note for “Warren” for Unit 33 but nothing for us in relation to the late check in. We started calling the late arrival assistance mobile number at app 8:30pm and pressed the buzzer at the front counter and looked around for someone to help. After 10 to 15 phone calls over approximately 1.5hrs we noticed there were lights on in the unit behind reception but when I knocked on the window the lights were turned off and no one was answering the reception buzzer. I then found a gate to the unit behind reception which did have a no entry notice on it but I thought as we had been driving for 5 hours and with 3 very tired people growing more stressed and angry and repeatedly trying the after hours number with no success it was worth the risk of entering. I then entered the area and saw lights and a TV on through a glass door and a large number of empty wine bottles lying around, this was when it got extremely confusing and strange. A man came to the door and said I was trespassing and demanded to know who I was and what I was doing there, I gave him my full name, the details of our having booked a unit and requesting late check in, the late check in being approved and then nothing at the reception desk. I asked the man his name but he would not provide this, he kept asking me my name and what I was doing there and did not appear to be able to understand what I was saying to him and kept repeating that I was trespassing and asking for my name and what I was doing there. I kept repeating to him my details and apologising for trespassing but asking if we were able to check in to our unit which we had already been charged for by booking.com He then went to the reception area and kept repeating I had been trespassing and he didn’t want any aggression (at no stage had he been threatened or sworn at). He still kept repeating the same things over and over again and asked us our name about 15 to 20 times but still refused to identify himself other than saying he was the unit manager. He opened a computer program but appeared unable to actually operate it to check for our reservation (it appeared to me to be possibly due to the affects of alcohol or drugs). He was still repeating over and over again that he didn’t like aggression and at 10pm at night thought we should find another property to stay at, my eldest son negotiated with him to allow us to make another reservation so that we had somewhere to stay and we could resolve everything in the morning, but at that point a woman who he called Elmira started screaming the same things he had been repeating about aggressive customers and trespassing and stopped him from proceeding with the reservation. I would like to point out that in spite of our treatment they had still not been threatened or sworn at. The man then said he was going to call the police and I suggested to him that this was a good idea and I would be glad to discuss the problem with them when they arrived, and he then thought it would be better if the police were not called after all. He then advised just because we had booked with Booking.com didn’t mean they had our reservation and that Oasis Resort didn’t necessarily recognize Booking.com reservations. At this stage because we were not receiving any help from the “Unit Manager” and by now it was 10:20pm we had to find another place to stay. After raising this issue with Booking.com the following day they advised it was my fault for arriving at 8:20pm when I had requested late check in for 8:00pm. I presume they think it unreasonable to not be able to judge how long a 5hr drive will take to within 5mins or less in spite of road works and other conditions. The charges for the room were refunded but there was no apology from the resort or booking.com for the treatment we received.…
