The sea temple Palm Cove has some wonderful apartments which overlook the pool area , my favourite Being, so far is the double bedroom apartment in the corner of each building that are very spacious and have great amenities.these are displayed in most of my my photographs.
The management of Megan, the general manager, and Steve who.i believes is the assitant manager seem to be on top of their game with great support from Miranda in housekeeping and kirstin the head of hospitality, who is a lovely enthusiastic person..the front desk has some..lovely welcoming people such as Natalie and katsumi but all the staff seem to.give their best. who I've got to know well over the last 10 visits . The room I have photographed is one of the best that i have ever been allocated,at the sea temple , although some guests dont like the apartment because the roof of the temple of taste's is in the view. But to be honest and I would stay once a .week if this was a normal upgrade
I will end by saying it's a wonderful location to the south of Palm Cove with full beach access and still very close to the action of Palm Cove.
This Sea Temple has exceptional service from enthusiastic employees, and the Temple of Taste Restaurant is highly rated by us locals.
Give it a try. You should not be disappointed

The apartment feels like a house, with all the space and amenities that you could want. Great space, walk to beach, choice of sensational pools, . . . top value for money. We had breakfast near the pool ; it is a la carte, well presented, healthy choices and delicious.
It looked like the occupancy was very low and (probably because of this) there were very few staff around ; we had a long wait at reception, but more importantly, breakfast staff were clearly under pressure (which was reflected in the short-tempered attitude of the manager). I would think this will be better during the Tourist Season.
Overall, Temple Resort is an enormous and magnificent complex (running & maintenance costs must be huge) - it is a wonderful place to spend some quality time to re-charge the batteries. We'll be back !
After this we ate out every day as I wasn’t prepared to give them our money with such a poor quality of customer service.
If you have children under 13 then it’s great place to stay as the pool and adult only spa is packed with screaming busy kids enjoying themselves which is them just having fun until about 6pm then it’s really quiet once everyone heads in for dinner and the temperature drops.
The main pool is freezing cold for adults and impossible to use the spa till all the kids went in for dinner after dark.
Maybe if the pool temperature was warmer adults could use it too.
If you are a couple and want a relaxing holiday this is not the place for you.
Not true king beds, simply two singles zipped together. The initial room we were allocated had faulty zippers and led to the beds splitting apart. This made worse by the fact that the request for a pregnancy pillow was ignored (and later claimed that it didn’t send through to Pullman despite every other Accor property I visited both before and after all picking it up).
Reallocated to another room that had a broken toilet seat, faulty TV that wouldn’t turn off, unclean bedsheets (that the Room Division Director tried to claim didn’t exist until he realised I had photos), dust hanging from the ceiling and mould in the bathroom.
In the end, after three nights, three room changes (including one at 11pm), several unreturned requests for contact by a completely absent GM I requested a refund and left early. Staff were argumentative and at one point said “I don’t think I should be held accountable for a Accor problem” despite Pullman very much being part of the Accor Group. Not worth my hard earned money or energy to deal with stoic, unapologetic and rude staff members who made it out as if I was creating the problems on my own holiday.
If we didn’t have the service and room issues we had I still probably wouldn’t stay there. Common spaces were dated including the pool. Only ever 1 staff member anywhere (poolbar, reception, spa) and when running at the high occupancy that they are it was always slow. Evidently, after speaking with other guests who felt they were ripped off at their price-points, one quipped that this property is owned by a body corporate that Accor manage on their behalf which means they have no control to truly maintain the grounds properly.
Will not return and don’t think you, reader, should either. You’re far better off at Cairns in terms of quality of rooms, location and value-for-money.
I also found another trip hazard on day 1 as we were checking in and fell heavily. I can't fault the response from the staff - again amazing. However the warming sign was the same colour as the edge of the step I fell down, certainly not bright yellow (as some steps had but by no means all). I got of lightly all considered.
The staff were great, especially given the clear staffing issues (an amazing manager working just about everywhere) and the desk staff were brilliant. . I was slightly disappointed to find no swimwear at all in the Resort shop (although I was able to find some elsewhere). The pools were great, the food amazing, and the poolside bar was a relaxing place. I have it on my partner's authority the spa was amazing, sadly illness forced me to skip my appointment (absolutely not the Resort's fault there) and that was disappointing for me. The smells were divine.
The pool and grounds of the resort are well maintained and the resort is built around a number of beautiful local trees, adding to the experience. We had dinner in the temple of tastes restaurant and the food was first-class with excellent service. Breakfast every morning was very generous also with yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries and a hot plate of food. We also had a couples treatment at the vie spa which was heavenly.
The staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating at all times and very knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. The resort is in an ideal location between cairns and port Douglas meaning you can enjoy both areas very easily.
My only minor criticism (and I stress very minor) is that I think the resort could use more staff. I waited a long time to check in as only one person was on the desk, and service at dinner/breakfast or at the lagoon bar was very slow at each occasion. One more staff member in each situation would’ve made a lot of difference. The resort was not busy and it was outside of school holidays. I stress this is only a VERY minor detail though and really didn’t effect my experience at all. I will be recommending this place to my friends, colleagues and family and we will certainly be back in the future!

We stayed on a room only basis and ate at local eateries during our stay, so can't comment on the food. However, the bar service was excellent with great cocktails, including a cocktail of the day.
Pool area was quite busy, but as this is tropical Queensland the majority of people do use the pool as the beach is not suitable for swimming due to the crocs and jelly fish.
Shops, restaurants etc are all in easy walking distance. Good place to stay.
