Always a pleasure travelling north to Peppers. If you are a couple after privacy without the noise request to stay in the serenity wing. The service was always friendly and requests dealt with by friendly staff. This is now our 12th visit over a 14 year period and have found

The location is very quiet and stunning across the road from a beautiful beach and we kayaker out to Double Islands with Pavific Sports. Port Douglas is 40 mins up the road and has many more restaurants and a village feel. The breakfast is very basic and definately 2 star.

How crowded is the resort in late November?
I think it depends on when school holidays are in Australia. They are on different weeks in different states.People from Melbourne and Canberra were there in the winter as it is cold where they come from. We were there when the resort was full and there was no problem.

It’s warm up there even in winter so the pools are amazing to cool off!

We deliberately chose a time outside of all school holidays (early September) and were glad we did. There were still families with small children but not many.
