From the moment we went to reception it was great. Kevin is friendly and helpful. As I had recent surgery it was difficult getting up stairs. I contacted Kevin who was understanding and was able to move us to a more suitable apt within a couple of days with a bedroom downstairs with ensuite, certainly made stay more enjoyable. Rooms are beautiful, airy and full of light. Fully air conditioned plus fans. They also leave some basics to get us by before going shopping. Kevin also arranged tours for us at 5% discount and also arranged airport transfers. We would stay here again and again. Thanks Kevin and cleaners for doing a great job.
Spent a week at the Villas Palm Cove for a family holiday. Great place in a great spot. The manager was very helpful in assisting us with an extra room on our booking and organising our day out on the reef snorkeling. The Villas are in a great spot as it is only a short walk to Palm Cove main street and far enough away from the main street to not get caught in the middle of it all. We were travelling with friends and the communal BBQ area was great as well as the communal pool (even though you get your own pool). My only complaint is that the garages are a little on the small side though we certainly didn't let this get in the way of a great week. Will stay again next time we are in far North Queensland.
Gorgeous villa with private pool, nice manager with his partner who really looked after us. Was our honeymoon so the private facilities made it just that bit more romantic. Everything you would have at home. Restaurants, jetty and beach only minutes away. Would recommend the surf club and the Thai! Palm Cove is an amazing tranquil place and would highly recommend the Villas to stay.
Unfortunately we had an awful stay at the villas paid $395 a night and photos were not the same as we got. Door fell apart on the bedroom so spoke to Kevin the manager about it and was told it happens up here....we've lived in the tropics for 25 years, asked for him to come and look and he refused.. we arranged to stay at another place the night after as paying that amount a night was ridiculous. He was rude and told us he wished he never did this job due to complaints, then 10 minutes after said he never had complaints and to check Google reviews .. on leaving he asked if we had been drinking and ruined the door....we don't drink!!! And were asleep by 9.30pm due to a 10 hour flight.. when we posted on Google about our review and looked at others they were deleted by management which is a shame, and then got sent an awful text from Kevin being nasty... Never ever will we stay at this place again.…
We originally booked the 4 bedroom apartment which looked too good to be true. 2 days prior we were told it was not available, however they could give us 2 x 2 bedroom apartments side by side. We ended up on different sides of the complex and instead of the 4 bedrooms with queen beds or doubles, we ended up with the queen bed and 2 single bed combinations. Very disappointing. After sharing our experience, we found out that the exact same thing happened to another group at The Villas when they booked the 4 bedroom apartment, which makes me wonder if the complex even has such an apartment, or is it a way of getting customers in.
The apartment was great value for money. My first opinion was that the apartment was a little older than we usually visited however, after visiting friends who were staying at other accommodation, I was very happy with our accommodation. In comparison. The premises were immaculate, well appointed. I was worried that the pool would be a plunge pool but it is a decent size, very relaxing and refreshing. I would definitely stay at the villas again if we visited palm cove aga
Our unit was fantastic and having our very own pool was fantastic especially with children. Pros- clean, large personal pool, spacious, quiet, location, value for money. Cons-exhaust fans didn’t work in bathroom/toilet, bed not fantastic. Overall this is one of the best places to stay if visiting cairns and we will be back for sure!
My wife and I needed to unwind and relax after a really strenuous year. From the moment our booking was confirmed until the day we left the experience was wonderful. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by Bev and Fury, who welcomed us to the accommodation and personally escorted us to our room. It was less like booking into a hotel and more like coming home for the holidays...we felt as though we were part of the family! The location was perfect...close to the beach and other attractions, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of Cairns. Whether dining indoors or spending time on the balcony facing the ocean, it was just so peaceful and relaxing, and exactly what the doctor ordered. Cannot recommend it enough...perfect for an any time of year getaway or that romantic weekend you've been planning.…
We came back again to celebrate our anniversary and as always, Kevin is the “host with the most”. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We stayed in a villa with its own private pool which was very romantic. For the villas without a pool, there is a lovely big one in the middle of the complex so don’t worry. These villas are individually owned so just check the one you booked has what you need if you have extra requirements or special requests. Bring all your food and drinks (supermarket and bottle shop is just a few kms along the main highway towards Cairns). Free wifi available. Would have given this a rating of 5 but the mattress and pillows weren’t quite as good as they could be in Villa 4.
This place is great. We had a one bedroom unit with our own pool. Very clean and comfortable with a great bed. A little bit older than what we imagined but nice. Good location with walking distance to most amenities and a bus stop at our back door. ( not that we used it). Kevin the manager helped us book some tours with a modest discount. We will stay again in March 2020
