This place had character. It was like a miner’s camp. There was a mess which served good meals, and drinks until around 8pm. The unit was comfortable, and we had no complaints. Breakfast is served from 4.30 am, and the buffet dinner was more than adequate

This is a good option for a stay in Karratha. The rooms are generously sized with a very basic kitchenette, lounge and comfortable bed. We had dinner there - and it was pretty good with several hot options to choose from. The staff were super friendly and this is a well run complex with pool, gym, tennis courts and BBQ facilities. It's about 4km from the CBD and good value for money!

This is mainly a motel for industrial workers but is nicer than similar places in Western Australia. Large room with modern decor. Laundry, gym, pool, barbecue area. Good buffet dinner with a salad bar and plenty of variety in the main courses. Felt very safe to park here.

I recently stayed at the Aspen Karratha Village, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I have never encountered such a filthy and poorly maintained hotel in my life.
In the room 370 ,first and foremost, the bathroom was extremely dirty. The shower cabin was so grimy that the glass looked opaque. The tiles were covered in dirt, and there were visible stains on the bathroom door, which appeared to be blood from some insect. The floor clearly hadn't been washed in a long time, making the entire bathroom experience unpleasant and unhygienic.
To make matters worse, there were no coffee facilities available in the room, and the hotel did not provide any potable water. This was highly inconvenient and not what I expected from a place claiming to offer comfortable accommodations.
The swimming pool was another disaster. It was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages, making it unusable. This was particularly disappointing as I was looking forward to relaxing by the pool during my stay.
The only redeeming quality of the Aspen Karratha Village was the friendly staff. They were courteous and tried their best to assist, but their efforts couldn't make up for the appalling state of the hotel's facilities.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and basic amenities made my stay incredibly uncomfortable. Avoid Aspen Karratha Village if you value your health and well-being.

Lovely little cabins/ units that are cozy. Great facilities. Great location - shops nearby and easy access to tourist places. Very clean. Super friendly, helpful staff. Thanks Jamie and team!
It has the reputation for being the best accommodation in Karratha - no argument from me on that on.
If you run/ walk, great trails on rhe doorstep,

Really friendly and helpful staff and site well laid out with plenty of parking for cars and field vehicles
Single room accommodation which was adequate, but for long term stays a challenge and no washing machine in room although communal facilities on site
Very basic kitchen utensils so cooking impossible if self catering required
Great BBQ area which we used
Breakfast a bit basic but again adequate
More than adequate for basic stay

Currently staying in the park, it is clean quite, and has concrete slabs for your caravan or RV plus eating area. A great change from all the dust, it has been a bit windy but think it has all over. Pretty close to the shopping centres, staff are friendly.

Great place to stay. I am in Karratha regularly for work and Aspen Village is very accommodating. Situated in a quite part of town. There is a very good canteen that serves a hot and cold breakfast, a picnic lunch and a four course dinner. With very friendly kitchen staff. The chalets are very roomy, with a double bed, lounging area, small kitchenette and ensuite. There is free to air and cable TV, video and free wifi. There is a swimming pool, tennis court and gym if you want to get physical.
