The main room had a double & single lounge, with large flat screen wall-mounted TV. The adjacent kitchen had a six seater dining table and small desk with another seat. There is so much space to spread out and work, its great! The kitchen was well appointed though no dishwasher. The washing machine & dryer were hidden next to the kitchen – would be great to have a clothes drying rack to avoid use of the dryer/chairs . The area was tiled with a huge window allowing plenty of natural light. Two ceiling fans plus split system air conditioner.
The separate bedroom had a huge king size bed – which was comfortable, plenty of pillows & great high quality crisp linen. Bed side tables with lamps and luggage bench made things very comfortable. My biggest compliment was the modern charging stations which were bedside & on the desk – USB/extra power points – perfect for laptops, phones! The bedroom was carpeted but clean. Split system air conditioner plus ceiling fans made it very comfortable.
The ensuite bathroom was reasonable. Provided toiletries are 2x shampoo & conditioners plus 2x bars soap. Two grey face washers, two bath towels, & one each bath mat & hand towel. The water pressure was great but hot water wasn’t very plentiful.
There is so much parking. I didn’t get woken by any street noise despite being on a busy corner (the rooms are set back with a fence). There is a 24-hr service station with ATM across the road, plus fast food & tavern only a few minutes’ walk away (with a small shopping complex being built). I like being out in the suburbs and close the Highway to commute back into town or Dampier. The township is only a 5min drive away (not walkable distance).
I have stayed at many other hotels/apartments in Karratha and will definitely be staying here on my monthly work trips.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry which is useful when on a long road trip as we were.
The room rate is not cheap, particularly when a family of three has to take out two units.
I also found it unsatisfactory that they don't service the rooms daily as one expects in hotels, motels and resorts. We were there for only two days, so not a major inconvenience, but for the high room rate, I don't expect to have to make my own bed and I expect a change in towels.
I have stayed at most hotels/motels/camps in Karratha over many years and this is the best yet. It is well priced comparative to the others in Karratha (let's face it, everything in Karratha is expensive).
Facilities are modern, clean, and the kitchen has the necessary utensils.
Most importantly, I have never had a bad night's sleep here. Beds are very comfortable. Air Conditioning is modern and quiet. Block-out blinds on the windows to stop any light coming in at night (or in the day if you are holidying and can enjoy a sleep in).
Keep up the great service ladies. Your efforts are appreciated.
Highly recommend this property.
No dishwasher.
No Foxtel, free to air only.
The executive suite is the same as all the others. Not worth the extra $$ for a queen bed.
The photos are deceptive.

Local kids up and down the street all hours.
The price is about $30-$40 too dear.
Telephoned on Saturday morning to make sure they had cots but was informed that the reception is closed on the weekend and that it was safer for us to bring our own portacot ( we only have 1). What kind of an establishment is this I thought to myself with no service personnel on duty at the weekend. Anyways we proceeded to bundle our bags kids and portacot into the car and three and a half hours later had to ring for our keys. We collected them from a mystery box outside reception- how odd.
Got to our "suite" and sure enough there were no cots set up. We had to set up our own portacot in the master bedroom and drag the mattress out to the lounge area for the rest of us to sleep on. Not ideal at all for our two month old.
I don't know what the smell was or where it emanated from but it smelled like peroxide. I thought maybe it was because we moved the mattress and it was a cleaning agent used or something...who knows...maybe we should have rang the mystery number again..
We were paranoid the fumes would irritate out kids. My skin was so itchy during the night( sheets and/or dust in the room) . In the morning we all had sore throats and full of mucous - yuck.
Iv read reviews that the place is so clean - not true at all. There was visible mould/mildew between the tiles in the shower. I don't agree with the shower curtain either it's a haven for bacteria- unless it's disposable and thrown away after every check out ( which I very much doubt).
We rang the number again to find out what the latest check out was because we had bottles to sterilise and a long journey ahead of us. We were told that they would get back us- snd you guessed it they didn't.
REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE or should I say no customer service .
Will never ever return to this grotty place
Main complaint was that they are not as clean as they could be. The red dust of the NW is everywhere, but there is no excuse for still having it on a tile floor.
Location isn't great. It is a drive away from karrathas central amenities. There is a service station opposite, but this is more of a pain than a convenience as every mine worker on shift drives his ute in thee at all hours and there is the endless "beep beep beep" of reversing warners.
That said, if you are on the non-road side it is fine. Most of the accommodation is booked long-term by companies associated with the resources sector.
The bathrooms are always clean and the water pressure is fantastic. It does get a tad wet on floor but if you are aware of it then there really isn't too much worry.
I have stayed here a couple of times now and have no hesitation on going back when the need will arise with work.
"Ask for room inside the parking area rather than road side due to traffic unless want more privacy!"Read full review
