Detailed Reviews
The basic room is quite small and quite dark, as there is just a small window. The beds were good. We got lots of towels and there was a Nespresso coffee machine, although ours was not working properly. Owner/manager was very helpful. The rooms have sitting area, but there is a courtyard BBQ sitting area which can be used. We used this to enjoy our meal and breakfast. Unfortunately is that this can be used by smoking quests as well. That is actually the only negative comment I have. We stayed there twice during our trip in WA. The first time two nights and we booked after this stay for one more night on the way back. Good value for money.

Considering the price of accommodation in Karratha, this is good value for money. Only downside is that it's a bit far to walk to restaurants etc if you don't have a car. Staff were welcoming and friendly at check in, room was clean, bed was comfortable and had no issues with my stay. Would stay again.

We found a deal for 107 bucks a a night. Arrived late and the front of desk was super accommodating of our arrival time. The room was perfect for the price. It’s great if your heading to an event at the RSL. Lots of parking. Like an old donga inside but does the job.

As a single Senior on the road the cost and room were comfortable. The Manager very pleasant and helpful. Other patrons were a bit loud outside my room but quietened down at 9pm. Hardly slept as the air con had an audible chatter. Tried ear plugs but didn't work.

Located close to the Karratha Leisure Centre and an education campus and the RSL Club, this budget motel complex offers reasonable 3 star accommodation, but is some distance away from the main township where is a good choicew of restaurant. Clean, with a comportable bed, a hot shower, free Wi-FI, rooms offer basic kitchen facilities (fridge, toaster, microwave). Very friendly and helpful reception facilities and a low cost continental breakfast is alos available.

Comfortable, affordable, quiet
Stayed here for swimming competition. Host was friendly. Rooms are stock standard donga style. All the necessary stuff. Great BBQ area. No pool or restaurant. But for $40 each a night it's a pretty little set up. With laundry facilities.
Great stay! Slept well. Showers are awesome.

Big bucks for a small room that was basically a transportable. Had the essentials, air con, fridge, shower etc. BBQ area was pleasent, Noisy as most guests were working shifts and leaving real early in the morning, room was a tin transportable unit.

I usually stay at a motel chain when on regional work trips and am used to paying $140ish a night but in mining boom town Karratha, the same motel chain charge way more than that so I opted for the cheaper Karratha Motel. Quite adequate although the rooms seemed rather cell like. Great communal outdoor eating area with spotless BBQ facilities. The motel is in suburbia so a car is recommended. Stayed six nights and it was adequate for my needs although I did spend most my time eating and dining at other hotels so only really slept here.
