I chose this hotel for the location which is fantastic. Had to admit that it looks like a pretty run down motel from the outside. Only staying one night for a business trip so not too fussed. Check in lady was lovely. I found my room. It was exceptionally neat and tidy and will do the job. Bathroom was spacious and disable friendly. Standard bar fridge, iron, tea and coffee. Decent amenities (there is a shower cap which is my minimum!) The radio/alarm doesn't appear to be working but not fussed. Air con was on full blast when I walked in which is great as today is 36C. A bonus is that the bathroom light and fan go into standby mode automatically and instantly turn on when you walk in. The whole complex is aging but clean so I am happy with it and would stay here again.

Rooms were highly functional with queen plus single configuration. They were clean with a fairly new fridge and refurbished bathroom. Pool was nearby and was large and clean. Parking was out the back of the unit, but close enough to move bags between car and room with ease. Compound seemed to be fairly secure, although locking car and room is recommended.
Didn't eat at the restaurant but it appeared very quiet. Maybe because the hotel is located within the CBD and guests can avail themselves of restaurants and cafes in the centre of Karratha.
Paid a fair price for the rooms, but got fair value. Rooms on the way back were much nicer than rooms on the way there 'though...

If you are looking for upper class accommodation then this isn't for you (hey, it IS Karratha after all). But, if you like for your accommodation to be clean with comfy beds and good amenities then it's hard to go past this hotel/motel. It's in an excellent location being walking distance to the shops and a semi - detached bottle shop. Staff were excellent and very friendly with a clean and modern reception area. We had a few meals from the restaurant with both room service and a meal in the pool area. The food was very good and well priced with polite and friendly service, they even allowed us to consume our own alcohol in the pool area where we spent quite a lot of time on our second day, surprise surprise it was hot and humid in Karratha. Only real gripes are the gardens could do with a good clean up with weeds and overgrowth in most areas. All in all it's very good for what it is and where it is. Would definitely stay here again.

Accor group should remove this hotel from their group. Utter disgrace to even give this a 3 star rating. Arrived after 2pm to a vacant reception with a sign to dial 9 for assistance. No phone on counter so had to reach over onto reception desk and use their phone to call someone, lady came no apologies- checked us in - not friendly. On walking around to the room I knew then I should have got back in the car and left. Pavers were all lifting and dangerous, grass and gardens over grown and half dead, rubbish laying around everywhere. On entering the $200 + a night room i was horrified that they could call this a garden view room. Dark, old, dirty and depressing is the best way to describe. Only 1 towel in bathroom, called reception no answer, left message, no call back - 2 hours later called again, someone then turned up with what I would call a olive green thread bare 1980s towel no bigger than a kids beach towel. I could go on and on but i can only say avoid at all costs. There is a lack of accommodation in town but i would highly suggest staying elsewhere.

Had a pleasant stay at ibis styles. From the outside o was very hesitant but once got to rooms was very nice and modern. Nice pool area. The only down thing was the room had block out blinds, and the roller blinds didn’t fit the room properly so lights of light from the sun in the morning, but overall a great stay

Dear Holiday989 , Thank you for choosing to stay with us at ibis Styles and for sharing your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the modern rooms and our pool area. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the roller blinds not fitting perfectly, allowing sunlight in the morning. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will certainly look into this issue to ensure greater comfort for our guests in the future. It was a pleasure to have you as our guest, and we hope to welcome you back soon for an even better experience! Warm regards, Toby Mew General manager Ibis Styles

The freezer in the room fridge doesn't appear to have been defrosted for decades.
They had tea & coffee making facilities in our room, but not a toaster and no plug for the hand basin. They also had a small table in the room, but no chairs. Although, There were two garden chairs outside the room.
This is one of Karratha's original hotels, it was once under the Mecure banner.
The pathways, especially around the quadrangle including rooms 25 to 35 needs sweeping
Staff, including Conner, were great and the Chef and kitchen team did a great job with meals.
There isn't any secure parking, so I would recommend removing valuables from vehicles.
The Ibis is located in the centre of town, close to supermarkets and shops.

Visiting my sister, who came from out of town. Decided to eat in the bistro for lunch. Darts tournament was underway with teams all coming together from the Pilbara region in the hotel. In my 20 years of being in the service industry I have never seen such utter chaos and disorganisation while trying to order food and drinks. Staff member was taking orders from whoever spoke first. First come first serve was the motto of the day. I was skipped over 5 times. Customers 3 deep with one person tending bar and taking orders with another staff member waiting tables and on the odd occasion slipping behind the bar to help. I ordered the shredded beef bao. What showed up looked like it came from the Little Shop of Horrors. I would have thought, since the hotel was hosting a darts competition, they would have had more staff on to tackle the influx. It was evident they did not. My sister showed me her room. Very dark and not clean. Freezer in bar fridge needed defrosting. A black circle in the toilet where the water level is. Don't know what that was about, as I don't have that in my toilet. This Pilbarette will be staying clear of this place and will not be recommending.

Wow the staff were amazing ant the gardens were beautiful not to forget the great breakfast included with the room our room was suffice for myself and my 2 grandaughters with a large tv and tea and coffee making facilities available. The hotel was in a great location right in the hub of Karratha so able to walk to most places. When ever we needed something the staff were so helpful and obliging couldnt do enough. I will definately stay again which will be December and have asked if I can have the same area for the room as I had In October and they have agreed to this request

Our first impression was that it was not very well maintained and certainly very run down!
The room we were assigned to was dark and dingy and the curtains falling apart and the duvet looked like it had not been cleaned for years. To top it all, we had 3 bags of garbage placed there, totally disgusting!
Being international travellers, we try to stay in an Accor hotel whenever we can and certainly did not expect a trusted brand to have such low standards. At the very least, it should be clean and tidy, a little more effort in maintaining the property would certainly go far!
10 minutes after checking in, we checked out. We did not receive any ALL points for our room despite full payment made and certainly no refund given. Never again with Ibis Styles especially Ibis Styles Karratha!
