This place was not a great experience at all! 1. We arrived at 10.30am and understandably we're too early to check in but were told we could not check in before 2pm regardless of whether our room was ready or not. BTW the place was dead, no sign of another guest! We went at 2 and guess what? They were busy! 2 young female staff(they worked together on one customer at a time!)who did not smile or greet us. We then waited 25 minutes to be served with no regrets on their part for the wait. 2. The room was OK but there was a terrible odour coming from the bathroom drains. 3. Had to stay again a few days later. Still no smile or welcome from the staff member. 4. They were evidently short staffed but our room was not serviced and should have been. 5. On the upside, the restaurant food was pretty good although steak was priced from $47! Staff were pleasant at the bar.…
The young multitasking staff were an inspiration but something seems to be lacking at a higher level. Firstly, the resort ( a description which is pushing the envelope), failed to collect a busload of guests from the airport. While understandably the rooms were not ready for us early arrivals, we were advised by a person who appeared to be in charge that an SMS wold be sent as soon as the rooms became available. No SMS was sent and although we saw that our allocated room was indeed ready, we were unable to access it until 2 pm. No lunch was available (we made allowances for the fact that Hospitality is suffering from a lack of staff) and no suggestions were made eg that we were in walking distance of town and a pleasant park and lake. Instead we were left to "kick our heels". The room was large and clean but there were indications of a lack in maintenance, with a large hole in the net curtain, a faulty light bulb and hot and cold indicators missing from the shower taps. Minor matters but in total indicating a less than satisfactory situation. The evening meal was good.…
This resort was quite large as was the room. We were on a coach trip and there was a rush for the laundry which was free. The bed was comfortable, the pool was well used and the food was just OK. Pub food. Our tour guide organised a local to show us around the small town and interesting surrounds. We would be happy to stay here again.
Staff walking around not knowing what to do,it was embarrassing for a local to see ,only about 10 people there and still couldn’t get orders right, also was hard to get drinks because there was nobody around most of the time ,could have served ourselves
Resort, really? More like a below avarage motel in the middle of nowhere, no breakfast or breakfast facilities provided, when I where we could have something to eat, the answer was; "restaurant does not open on Mondays ", you can walk 15 minutes to town ( more like 30+), under a 39 C , heat? Thank you. Just remove the Resort name on it as it does not look orany reflect one. We try and holiday in WA, however when you pay what is charged and get very little, is very outputting.
Very nice, rooms very spacious, air conditioned, tea coffee milk supplied. Bathroom large. Food was fabulous but a little big for Seniors. Staff great very pleasant and polite. Swimming pool great too. The gardens are beautiful. Thank you
Rooms was average .had heard there had been a few break ins did not reassure me. Tried to get a drink at the bar a baileys on ice said I could not have it without milk but I could order a bottle of wine WTF told mw it was WA Liquor law .everyone around me was pissed. All I wanted was a baileys on ice how bad can that Be!! Food and accomodation very average give it a miss
we stayed here for a night on our way to Lake Argyle in a king room. The room was ENORMOUS! I loved it had a ceiling fan & air conditioner - so we could dry our washing over chairs under the fan! the KS bed was comfortable with high quality linen. great night's sleep - even though we were the end room facing the road (it was very very quiet). the ensuite was massive with a large walk in corner shower. plenty of great quality linen & toiletries. great water pressure & temperature. it was weird the bathroom didnt have an exhaust fan so made it stuffy when showering. plenty of parking & convenient to park outside your room. loved the tavern onsite - delicious food & range of drinks. we used the onsite laundry facilities & took advantage of their massive swimming pool. highly recommend staying here.…
We stayed here for 6 nights while visiting the Kimberley area. They stored our luggage while we took an overnight trip to the Bungle Bungles. The rooms are very spacious and clean with good air-conditioning. The pool is crystal clear and large enough to do laps. The Sports Bar serves a variety of meals and although typical pub food it was good quality and freshly made. The salads were excellent. Breakfast is only offered at the weekends. A young man in the bar named Justin was fantastic. He worked very hard every night to make sure everyone was looked after and he was always pleasant. Great value for money.
Staff are great serviced us quick but not sure if it was a off night or just that it was school holidays but most of the people around us which got there before us had to wait over a hour for the meals. Ours was almost that and when it came out which was a Steak Sandwich it came with chips which weren't on the menu so of course we ordered extra chips which was a bit of a waste, we would have maybe gone back the follow night but decided to do our own meals in or Apartment.
