I highly recommend Kununurra as a place to visit & experience the wonderful landscape of the East Kimberely. There is no doubt that the pandemic has been a challenge for many hospitality businesses in WA with increased local demand & difficulty sourcing staff. This venue seems to have managed this challenge well recruiting staff from as far a field as Vanuatu. This place really does have the feel of a tropical country club with a lovely pool & outdoor dining / bar area. The rooms are basic but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean & well serviced. The onsite restaurant & bar provided a great place to unwind & enjoy refreshments. I am very grateful to the owner for maintaining this level of service during this challenging period. We will definitely be back for a tropical gateaway in the future. Thankyou for this lovely & hospitable experience.

Our flight from Broome to Kununurra arrived 30 minutes early so we had to wait for our free transfer to KCC to arrive. Amanda turned up in the minivan very apologetic and a little flustered that we had to wait. She was lovely and very informative about the area and the accommodation on our 5 km trip to the resort. What concerned us most was her advice when we settle into our room was to lock away all our valuables in the safe and don’t leave anything out on the balcony. Our room was comfortable but being on the 1st floor we had to lug our suitcases up the flight of stairs to our room. No wheelchair access here. After settling in we went for dinner at the restaurant and returned for a good nights sleep, albeit with one eye open and a chair against the inside of the door. With the shortage of staff I think these guys try really hard to make your stay as good as it can possibly be.

Good rooms and the restaurant is excellent for evening meals . Breakfast is good, but the hot food not very hot . We found the bed too soft . Wi fi is not secure which worried me . Close to shops. Nice pool. Fridge in the room and small TV . Our room was a longish walk to reception. If you are elderly suggest you book a ground floor room

We didn't stay here but did dine in thr restaurant. The staff were lovely and helpful. When thry brought us the wrong dish thry provided a soup free of charge while we waited. When the main course came it was well worth the wait ! Pork Loin my husband said was 10/10 sadly no picture he ate it too quick !! I had the hallumi salad which was fresh and tasty !

Nice place that is well maintained. Our room was good but the bed was too hard for us and no doubt it would suit other people. The hand basin in the bathroom is tiny and the tap takes up all the room so it is difficult to use. There was a strong smell of sewage when we were there, hence 3 stars instead of 4. The breakfast was good and the staff were very good.
