Home Valley has been designed beautifully, from the restaurant/reception area to the fabulous playground to the amenities blocks. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff let down the amenities blocks with their poor cleaning. We camped on a powered site with our camping trailer, it was quite dusty (although this can't be helped in the Kimberley) and more trees are needed to create...

Managed to get an upgrade to the excellent Grass Castles rooms on the bank of the creek. Loved listening to and watching the abundant bird life. Not sure about the lack of privacy in very open toilet/shower. Not 40 years young anymore! Thoroughly enjoyed the break and the magnificent scenery close by. Great staff who were always very helpful and...

Stayed at El Questro and drove the short distance along the GRR to Home Valley. Very welcoming. Sites quite exposed. Open laundry. Lovely sites down by the Pentecost River about 4km from Reception. El Questro has the walks, gorges and 4x4ing but Home Valley has the relaxation - pool included. Need to stay at both as comparison really can't be...

This was the third stop in our ten-day East Kimberley adventure with friends, and while it is set amidst the magnificent Cockburn Range and near the mighty Pentecost River, it didn’t quite offer the same magic as our other two stops – Parry Creek and El Questro. On reflection, I think that what lets HV8 down is its people –...

the swimming pool was enticing fur sure, plus the bar, restaurant and hot showers and flushing loos. Great playground too if you've got kids. The campsites are a bit dusty but we are in the outback after all. Quality of restaurant food was excellent. As was the pool and surrounds .

Home Valley was the first stop we had on Gibb River. We were greeted with happy, very helpful staff. The kids had a playground to play in and the pool with lots of grass, chairs and the bar was great. The tours we went on were first class my husband enjoyed every second of the fishing trip and I went...

We had a stop at Home Valley, opting for an unpowered camp site on the banks of the Pentecost River. It was some distance from the main area but very quiet and lots of space. The powered areas were very busy. To usethe pool we had to drive some distance back to the resort area but that was our choice....

During my recent two week Kimberley Outback Tour this overnight stay in an en-suited guest room was my most favourite place. The accommodation was clean and so luxurious after many fun glamping nights and the dinner was delicious. I wished we could have stayed another night!

We were part of a group of 5 families, 24 of us in total travelling the GRR in July school holidays. We all stayed at Home Valley Station in our various camper trailers. Home Valley was an excellent venue to wash away a bit of dust in great hot showers and a chance to catch up on some house keeping...

Had a nice stop here, camp ground was crowed but to be expected at that time of year. Entertainment was good but the pool was not very clean. Must of been all the dust from everyone coming off the Gibb. Showers and toilets were clean. Loved the front gates :)
