Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow! What an amazing experience! After having visited a winery with not so great wines, tranquil vale came as a delightful change of winds! We were warmly greeted by the cellar door Centurion (the beautifully placid dog Rusty) and then again by Connie. We chatted to Connie for a while then met her father Phil, who led us through an amazing selection of thoughtful and balanced wines. Connie and Phil being the winemakers answered every winemaking question with ease and with the friendliest demeanor. Afterwards, Phil took us into the winery, showing us how this family owned winery handles their grapes after picking. This fantastic experience was topped off by Phil showing us some Chardonnay & Shiraz straight out of the barrel! (As well as some family & friends exclusive barrell aged Muscat). Thank you so much Tranquil Vale !

Amazing wine tasting experience with delicious wines, cheeses, two super cute dogs and great hospitality. Even got a ride back to our accommodation after the tasting. Learned a lot about wine making and the special conditions needed to make these wines. Gorgeous surroundings. We’ll be back at the earliest convenience!

This is truly a stunning location on the banks of the Hunter River. Tucked away at the end of a quiet road. has nice facilities like tennis court and pool. The vineyard was stunning in autumnal colours and the wines perfect. We were welcomed with homemade bread and jam. The surroundings are very good for bike riding.

We stayed there with a group of friends back in August and it was an amazing experience. Beautiful accommodations, great amenities and the hosts are lovely. Also, I strongly recommend doing the wine tasting at the property as it was much better than other places on the area. And their wine is magnificent. I’m still thinking about the 2017 Chardonnay..... We will come back in 2021.

This is the second time ive stayed here. First was only for 2 nights up for a wedding. This time it was just to relax away from sydney life for my friend and I birthday. We stayed for 3 nights 4 days. 4 adults 3 kids under age of 4. Connie and her team were able to accomadate the babies and adults. We got the 1st day breakfast included in price, well worth it the bread was soooo nice . Wish we had more. The little home away from home was equipped with just enough kitchen supplies. If u like tea or coffee bring ur own, only basic. The view from porch is just nice. Quite and 20-30 minutes from hunter valley gardens, depends on your driving. If you want to save some money, get comforts of home and dont mind driving to the gardens, it well worth it . I would highly recommend. Only thing was seeing that there was no rain for a while, the water smelled quite a bit . They were more than happy to check it out. That didnt bother us, but remember that your in the country you cant have everything. It was a bit stinky what could u do. I still would recommend and stay again...

Response from tranquilvalevineyard, Manager at Tranquil Vale Vineyard

Thank you so much for the lovely review, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! As you mentioned there was a slight smell from the tank water in the bathroom during your stay and we are investigating the exact course. Our kitchen taps have a double filter for drinking and we do supply extra canisters of drinking water for our guests. We have basic tea (Twinings English Breakfast and Green) and coffee (plunger and instant) in the cottages, but if anyone is really missing their lattes we do have barista made coffee you can purchase at the cellar door, you can even order via text hand have it delivered to your cottage at no extra charge. Thank you again for the review and we look forward to hosting you again!

Friendly owners, comfortable room and all at a gorgeous location - we honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about our stay. The loft room was very clean and tidy and is perfect for a couple with a comfortable bed and lovely linens. Plus, a breakfast basket is provided on the first day with amazing homemade fresh bread, fruit, milk and yogurt for muesli. The vineyard itself is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer (or on a warmer weekend!) so we could have taken advantage of what looked like an amazing pool and tennis court.

Enjoyed 3 nights in this lovely location and stayed in the loft accommodation. We only had an issue with our toilet with was sorted out extremely quickley. If I had anything to bad to say it would be that the Wfi connection was very temperamental and unreadable even with us being located next to the main house and over the tasting shop. However overall I would definitely recommend anyone, to come and visit.
