Clearly, the place is beautiful from outside, it looks like an old victorian style village in the middle of palms and in from of the sea. Once you get there, nobody, is taking care of your luggage or maybe a welcome, as the place doesn't have a lobby. the reception is informal, through a restaurant and someone indicate the room...

My wife and I had a great lunch at Caffe Coson. We started with a vegetable and melted mozzarella appetizer which was stunningly displayed and delicious. My wife had Langoustine as her main and I had Mahi. Both were outstanding. The restaurant is a Palapa and is very pretty. Right on the beach, hard to beat.

Stopped here on the way to las Terrence and although I was happy with the Hotel Alisei where I stayed, I would have much preferred to stay here. This beach is the most exceptional place I have been to in the DR. Better than playa rincon. I hate to even post this as it would be a shame if this...

This is boutique hotel is paradise in every sense. The Beach: This beach is comparable if not superior to all the secluded beaches in the area that will cost you additional money, time and safety to reach (rincon, moron, etc.) The Hotel Staff and Grounds: The hotel has a rustic french BB setting, with significant attention to detail. Everything is...

Casa Coson is the perfect haven on the Samana Penisular; the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy excellent food. The owners Marzia, Yvan and all of the other staff will make you feel welcome to what feels like a home away from home. Our visit started off with a perfect salad and a nice relax by the pool and...

We went to visit this little hotel in May . The spot is ideal for someone who wants quietness. And the price very reasonnable. Very isolated so you need a car.The beach is endless. Lunch and dinner is available on the spot.Or you go to Las Terrenas where there is a good choice of restaurants. In Samana many restaurants and stores...

Imagine staying in an elegant French home crossed with Caribbean laid-back charm--that is the magic of Casa Coson. Spurred largely by welcoming doyenne Marzia, your stay here will be filled with many sublime moments: swimming, walking and lounging on the beautiful beach; eating the luscious gourment food cooked by Marzia herself with her assistants; resting in your beautifully appointed room;...

Quite spontaneously, we booked 10 days here, based largely on location and the reviews of other Tripadvisor travelers. Truthfully, bumping down a very potholed dirt road to the hotel had us a bit worried, but arriving a couple of kilometers later, we found ourselves at a jewel box of a hotel. It is situated on the northern end of the...

We stayed at Casa Coson for one week. Marzia and Yvan made us feel at home from day 1. We felt more in a home than a hotel. This small hotel is like renting a house on the beach but with all the hotel perks. The food is great, Marzia is an amazing cook, the whole staff is very friendly....

Marzia and Yvan are the perfect hosts who treat you like guests in their home as soon as you arrive at their small, charming hotel on the magnificent playa coson. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming small residence directly on the marvelous beach of Coson. The residence was built with love and understanding of the natural beauty around it by it's owners. The long and crystal clear waters of Playa Coson and the evergreen of the mountains in the back makes this place unique and wonderful where you can spend your next holidays. Once here you will not want to leave... The main house has 4 private beachfront bedrooms. The Villa Colonial is a replica of a Victorian Style house with four bedrooms and private kitchen. It has been finely decorated with nice furniture and colorful tissues. In the back there is a magical round private Casita Mexicana. The swimming pool is in the middle of the residence. The garden has long chairs, hammocks, private seating with sun covers, tables to play chess or cards. There is also a first class restaurant that serves delicious juices, drinks and French, Italian and International cuisine. It also has a traditional oven for pizzas. You can enjoy a massage in the gazebos's garden or in your room or you can walk for four miles surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees, golden sand and refreshing water. What are you waiting for?
