Slightly quirky in so much as this is a converted residence on a housing estate in the leafy suburb that is Marson Green. First appearances can be deceiving, but the room and breakfast were on a par with any similar price hotel, the over riding difference is the personal service, the owner was kind enough to give us a lift...

Refusing to pay the high prices charged at hotels near the NEC I settled on Arden House. It's not a hotel. It's a private house on a housing estate. You feel like you're staying in a friend's spare room. But it was immaculately clean, fairly well appointed and comfortable. I was warmly welcomed. There were nice extras like free snacks...

Due to making a mistake when making two bookings, the hotel charged us full price for all bookings (two couples). Sveral requests for sending us recepits for the payment, has so far resulted in no response. They made our trip much more expensive than expected.

Stayed here for spring fair. Will not stay again, avoid. I had left two item in the room by accident, when I called up, they denied any knowledge of the items, which were expensive to replace. Expected better service than this. Spend your money elsewhere

After reading the reviews on another website I was expecting b+b to be above average but sadly this was not the case, it was mediocre at best. This stay was part of a Christmas gift and therefore I was quite disappointed when the b+b did not meet the standard I was expecting. We stayed in the twin room which could...

Booked this as had concert in Genting Arena which was then cancelled. Decided to make use of booking and fly to Spain instead. Room on ground floor, didn't feel private, heard people coming in and out of house. Bathroom very narrow, felt cramped. Breakfast not full English, no bacon, scrambled eggs not fried, very little choice. Small bed and breakfast...

we arrived in the late afternoon and met a very friendly and helpful lady managing the reception. This together with some recommendations on where to have dinner gave us a very good first impression followed by some bad surprises. The bathroom was not clean but moreover there was a bathroom cabinet housing the remains from previous guests such as used...

We were surprised when we first saw the hotel, it was actually a detached house on an estate. We were impressed when we went inside, Our rooms were ok ,but we couldn't understand that when we went out in the evening, someone had come in our room and turned the lights on, it didn't really matter ,but we have never...

Odd place. It's a converted 4/5 bedroom house in a modern housing estate so a little difficult to find. It's been done up in some weird kind of mock tudor Shakespearian style abode. Completely inauthentic but very funny all the same. The room was spacious and comfortable, if a little stuffy at night (opening the window resolved that problem). Plenty...
