When my hotel in Whistler did not have a room for me, the night before a conference, I looked for an convenient alternative. The Hitching Post, is just a 20 minute drive from Whistler, and the price was right, so I booked in. I was delighted with the large, spacious, room, with a kitchenette (which I did not use) and...

There are only 2 real choices in the area and this is the cheaper choice. It's just before the turn off to The Duffy Lake road where the Sky part of the Sea to Sky highway, happens right on the Lil'wat reserve. At present it's run by a Korean family so it's clean but aging. Some rooms have kitchens and...

Only stayed one night, but it was a lovely place to stay. The grounds were well looked after with flowers everywhere and lawn was very well looked after. The check in was easy and person was very helpful. Only drawback we found, was the fact that we were expecting there to be a guest laundry as shown on the web...

We were travelling through Pemberton and looking for a motel to bed down for the night before a trip across the Rockies the next day, when we came across this little place tucked in the middle of nowhere. It really doesn't do itself any favours from the outside as the place itself and the surrounding area look like a throw...

This motel doesn't look like much from the outside (and the surrounding village looks even worse), but we were pleasantly surprised inside. Our room was spotlessly clean with a well-stocked kitchenette. It was so nice that we drove to nearby Pemberton (5 minutes away) and found a very good supermarket there, bought some food and brought it back to the...

The family room had a king sized bed after 2 weeks in Canada sleeping on smaller beds, husband and I were pleased to enjoy the space. It has air conditioning and the children's room (6 &8) was a fair size with twin beds in. A lovely eatery was just 5 minutes down the road and the food was great. A...

Lovely family run this spotlessly clean motel. Only one food source in this hamlet a Thai restaurant down road about 1 block away. It posted it was open 5-9 pm, but we were there just before 7 pm & it was closed. Si eat before checking onto motel. We saw a black bear in the area.

Great motel for an overnight. Very clean. Friendly staff. Free WiFi but weak. Bathroom very clean. Amenities were great, kitchenette handy. The bed was my only complaint. It was rock hard. Way too firm. Not a comfortable sleep at all, but would stop here again because everything else was great.

This roadside motel is about 5 minutes outside pemberton on highway 99. It is well sign posted from the road and is 50 metres off the road so no real traffic noise. Our ground floor room was comfortable with a small kitchenette and a nice shower room. There was a little noise from upstairs until the group there went to...

Room was great and manager was pleased to loan me a hair dryer from the office when the one in the room didn't work. I would stay again, was reasonable price, clean, very quiet and only a minute from town centre. There is a restaurant across the road, we didn't eat there but is convenient.
