My husband and I took a few days out of our busy lives and stayed at the Seacove Resort during our stay at Coolum. We were in a studio room (10). Easy parking and we felt safe and secure. The resort is private and quiet. Our room was clean and tidy and well furnished. Bed was comfy. Reverse cycle airconditioner was great for the cool mornings. Also enjoyed sitting on the sunny verandah reading. Loved the fact that we had a microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge and dishes/cutlery so we could make our own breakfast and lunch. Enjoyed relaxing and watching dvd's on the big tv at night. We didn't get to go in the pool even though it was heated (too chicken as it was cold outside) but it looked fantastic. Great place to stay that didn't break the bank.

G'day Jennywren71, it is really good to hear that you enjoyed your getaway to Seacove Resort and were hopefully able to forget the rest of the world for a few days. Next time you will have to be brave and take a dip into our pool or have a tandem skydive. ( That would be something to tell the kids). They land just out the front at Stumers Creek and I have been told that the adrenalin rush is fantastic. The out look from the studio apartment is really nice, the only downside being the cheeky kookaburra that sometimes invites himself to breakfast on the balcony, at least he doesn't drink too much coffee. Take care and keep your dreams alive Robbie and Kim-Leigh Seacove Resort

I would never recommend anyone stay here. We found out upon arriving that management had made a mistake and had double booked us over the Christmas/ New Year period. We had booked a family trip in August and then confirmed the accommodation closer to the date. The manager, Dominic, refused to acknowledge it was their mistake and kept saying "he is too busy to sort this out". He also kept saying we had cancelled through a third party platform. What had happened was that we booked initially 4 x 1 bedroom apartments through Hotels.com. Dominic then phoned us in August and said they did not have the 4 x 1 bedroom apartments but that he had 2 x 2 bedroom apartments (this was for 4 couples). He said to cancel Hotels.com and book directly. Accordingly, we booked directly through him over the phone and received two separate confirmation emails for each apartment and paid $200 deposit for each booking. Upon arrival on Boxing Day, Dominic said that one of the apartments had been cancelled by us, which was simply not true. We had emailed the week prior to check what time check in was for both apartments. Upon hearing of the error, we asked Dominic to help us arrange new accommodation on the basis that finding similar accommodation would be incredibly difficult and expensive at that time of year. We were pleasant and tried to resolve the issue but Dominic kept saying he was too busy and that we were after a "free holiday". Seacove directly deducted $2,400 from our credit card for the two apartments ($1,200 per apartment for 4 nights), even though they only provided us one apartment. We have asked for a refund for $1,200 but are yet to receive this. We then had to arrange accommodation for the two couples unable to stay at Seacove due to their mistake. Luckily there was two rooms available at Novotel, however they were $1,200 each for 4 nights, being double what we had paid to Seacove for the one 2 bedroom apartment which was suitable for two couples. We asked Seacove to cover the additional cost of staying at Novotel, as this was their mistake. They eventually agreed to pay $1,200 to Novotel for one of the rooms. This means we are out of pocket for the second room. As our family of four couples all live in separate states we had deliberately booked somewhere that we could all be together. Instead we spent our holiday driving between Coolum and Twin Waters. The accommodation at Seacove itself was terrible - the apartment was dirty and the smoke alarm appeared to be broken. This is by far the worst travel experience we have ever had and very disappointing for what was supposed to be a happy family time. We understand that mistakes happen, but the way that this was handled by management was atrocious. We didn't want to have to make such a negative review online, however we tried to resolve this directly to no avail. Sadly we now have to pursue legal action and lodge a dispute with our bank for the unauthorised payment taken.

The resort seems to be a mixture of Airbnb, residential apartments and apartments for tourist accomodation. We have booked our accomodation through booking.com for a couple of nights.
Keys were left in a safe box for us to collect. As soon as we got to our room we were welcomed with a strong smell of incense of some sort which was not desirable at all.
The bed was made but has stains on the sheet. Furnitures were outdated with tears on the chairs. Curtains were dirty with signs of mould.
Bathroom / shower floor wasn't cleaned.
Dust on all over the appliances.
Microwave and fridge dirty.
Cockroaches when it came night time
We called the reception and knocked on the door to report and hopefully we get moved to a different room- Domenic the manager ignored us. Picked up and Hanged up the phone on us.
We had no choice but to stay the night and checked out early in the morning - returned our keys and reported all the issues to Domenic for which he had many excuses that aren't professional at all if your running a business.
We had to spend many hours on the phone with booking.com to refund us the remaining of our accomodation paid already- showed them all the photos we had.
It took a few days but luckily got a refund for the remaining of the stay.
Please do yourselves a favour and not stay at this resort as it will ruin your holiday. It surely did for us.

Pool and spa was nice, but room was dated and dirty. Dirty dishes in the cupboard, dusty, blankets in wardrobe dusty and visibly dirty.
Air con leaked and room smelled musty and mouldy.
Overpriced for substandard accommodation.

Spent not even 1 night in a studio apartment we were given a disabled room and I would have to say it was the worst room I've ever stayed in.....the horrible damp mouldy smell, mouldy curtains and stained carpets were awfull and by 3am we could not stand the smell anymore so we left....

We stayed at this wonderful resort whilst relocating our family from interstate. The welcome and wealth of local knowledge were invaluable to us. It is difficult finding people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and a part of their community, but the Judge family made us feel welcome in every way - thank you 😊

G'day My3Squids, it is nice to hear that we were able, in some small way, to make your move to Queensland a bit easier. Hopefully, once you are all settled in, you will be able to experience the natural wonders of the Sunshine Coast, the whales are making their way past Coolum Beach. One of the best spots to see the whales is from Point Perry, grab a coffee and the kids, sit back on the hill and wait to see who will spot a whale first! G'day spongbobcarl, great to hear that you enjoyed your stay in apartment 20 when you stayed with us. Your absolutely correct about that apartment, the owners have been very proactive and have put a lot of thought and work into that apartment to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay there. Next time your up with the crew, you should bring your bikes, there are some great bike tracks around and the council is adding more in the near future. After a ride with the kids jumping into the heated spa is a perfect way to end the day. Take care and keep your dreams alive, Robbie and Kim-Leigh Resident Managers Seacove Resort
